I agree with some of what Nas said except Jayz, Imo reasonable doubt is not a fu*king classic.Hello East Coast n*ggaz, just because something is classic ONLY in your region doesnt make it a classic. Now i was like a teen around the time that sh*t came out.Its only a classic according to East Coast n*ggaz. Wasnt nobody in the south bumping reasonable doubt when it came out. They bumped the hell out of 2pac though.n*ggaz didnt even bump Biggie like that, unless he was on the radio. During the 90's n*ggaz down here bumped 8ball & Mjg,UGK,Scarface,Outkast,Bone and motherfu*king 2pac. Nas is a bi*ch for not including Tupac.

Tupac dissed that f*ggot so many times,Nas just gave up. Nas is the most overrated top 5 i have ever heard. Must i ask, who's top 5 is this n*gga on?Im pretty sure its only east coast n*ggaz. If anything he's only a top 10.
I'm from Atlanta and was listening to it in high school and I knew it was gone be a classic then

you were in a minority

nobody gave a fu*k about RD until after Jay blew up,hip hop revisionists pretend they were bumping RD when in reality it didnt even sell a million copies.

rd is a eastcoast album, that most of the eastcoast ignored when it dropped, BIGGY and Nas were running the show, their product was better....Jay upped his game though in 98.

Solid list. If I was to compile a top 25, it'd probably look something like this as well.

i cant even lie when i first heard RD (i didnt buy it) i wasnt feeling it, now i listen to it i can appreciate it, however there something about Jays voice at the time that turned me off. I don't regard RD has Jays greatest work, yes lyrically it was tight, but sonically, production value and conceptually i prefer BP and even Vol 2.

But when Vol1 dropped i became a Jay fan, his product improved immensely, then Vol 2 dropped and the Jay z was born. Jays song making ability improved with each album, similar to Pac, there were sparks of genius early on, but by the time Jay was on his 3rd joint he knew what he was doing.
