he's not coming back 100%. he'll never be the same as he was before. its just to what degree his play is affected.
good thing he's got that 3 pt shot locked down tho.
True he's going to lose some of his explosiveness and leaping ability but if he can learn to be a little bit more of a facilitator and improve his shooting, there's no reason why he can't still be an mvp-caliber player. The best players adapt their game as they get older and their body isn't what it once was, I just hope he can do the same.
On the positive side, we won't have to hear about how he's a superstar and should get more calls. And he also gets to try to learn to read.
