RG3 has olympic like speed STILL. And Andrian Peterson is every bit as explosive as Rose in his cuts, as I said, I can't look at these two RECENT glaring examples and think doom and gloom.

If there are others who have recovered and didn't lose anything(RG3,Young Baron,Peterson), why can't a 23 year old physical specimen do the same? I expect for him to be alright, just getting over the mental hurdle will be his greatest challenge.
i feel that

He probably won't be back until mid-January of next year, ACL recovery with rehhb takes about 6-8 months for athletes.

pretty sure Rose will have a better training/medical staff and rehabilitation program. Plus he has millions of dollars and an entire city and organization riding on him so he will be determined to get back to his normal self

there saying late FEB/March, they don't want to rush him back, want him to trust his body first.. I wouldn't mind bringing him back late march or just sit him out completely.

Anyone ever fu*k up an ACL? I wonder how long that surgery is
 joshdogg26 said:
*raises hand* lol

it takes a few hours from what i recall (hard to tell because you're unconscious lol) and they usually keep you overnight. he had a patellar tendon graft to replace it which is what i did for both of mine. other options are a hamstring graft or an ACL from a dead donor. there are pros and cons. i think it's easier to rehab with a patellar tendon graft vs. a hamstring, but if you don't strengthen it, you can get patellar tendinitis, which happened to me. he also received PRP to help heal.
my surgery took about 3-4 hours and im sure he went cadaver graft (patella tendon from a dead donor to be placed as new ACL) no way he went with his own patella tendon or hamstring. those are all surgeries of the past. plus by not doing those methods he doesnt have to heal from a 2nd spot. for professional athletes i would say recovery is 6-8 months

his knee they did surgery for is actually gonna be stronger in the long run than the one thats healthy. a tendon is a lot stronger then a ligament

you know it was his STYLE OF PLAY that got him injured in the first place...

stupid a.ss n*gga

Point God better learn how to shoot

What does that have to do with someone loving an exciting player? His style of play isn't what lead to his injury. What lead to his injury was a condensed season with little nagging issues that he came back to early from. Which ultimately caused something else in his body to fail. Before this season he missed just 3 games.

And Rose's style is unique, you can't be mad if people want him to recover, he IS entertaining. And thats what sports is all about, you come in here sh*tting on n*ggas injuries "call it business"(are you getting paid or just taking this BX WITNESS sh*t too seriously).. Calm down relax for two seconds..
