I seriously think Rocky has that " it ". Like whatever that " it " is... son got it. I think he can be one of those dudes like Snoop. He'll never have to be the best rapper, but he has the intangibles. The sh*t that you can't practice or teach. It's hard to dislike this n*gga, LOL.
When Purple Swag dropped last summer I was like.. " man, this n*gga ain't spittin'.. Why this n*gga from Harlem acting like he's from Texas? " Then I listened to it a few more times then the next I know I'm over here... " This is for my n*ggas gettin' hiiiigh on the regular! " Shoulders bouncin' and sh*t.
Dope vid, BTW.
Just my opinion.
Word, I feel the same way. He don't gotta spit the dopest bars or nothin, but he has an effortless flow, and some nice lines here and there, crazy production, and that "it" factor. I wasn't that big a fan the first time I heard Purple Swag, but like others said it grew on me and before I knew it I was vibin to that sh*t.
This song is the same...it was aight, but the video makes it dope...the visuals are nice.
I agree with dude bout ASAP actually being able to freestyle too...I SMH at dudes like Drake that be rappin off their phones and sh*t. I got mad respect for rappers that can actually go off top, and I seen a few vids of the ASAP cats freestylin pretty tough.
BTW, anyone catch that taxi go by at the end with the ASAP ad on top? That sh*t was dope :cool-smiley-009:
at that Cristal line, I remember seein a vid where Rocky talked about Jay-Z tellin him not to talk about Cristal no more in his raps cuz they were racist, and he jumps right on it in this song. Respect
