question I always had. people are taking protein in at like 210grams a day. I heard you can only consume 30grams a sitting. are you eating 30grams every 3 hours 7 times a day. or is this 30grams a myth?

I take a glass of grape juice (30 grams carbs) with 10 grams creatine. Then I drink half of my 75 gram protein shake before, and the rest after. I decided to drop the 10 grams creatine post workout and just take 10 pre workout. 20 grams even tho trainer online recommended it, seemed too much imo.

Work your core. A strong core will almost fix any back ailment. Core includes all the muscles around your torso. Do a lot of twisting movements with resistance, good mornings if you dont want to deadlift, and a lot of crunches/leg raises from all angles.


Alright, heres my updated pic taken just now... still smooth as hell, dont really like it. Want to get some striations going on. Ate 3000 cals today instead of 2000 to see if I could handle it, but got smooth instead. So gonna bring it back down to 2000 which was working anyway.

Jesus.. That's a lot of core work..

I work abs like once a week (if that)... I can't stand it, even though I have a slew of back problems (found out recently I have 2 compressed vertebral discs and mild scoliosis).

Sadly I've got good definition everywhere except my stomach. been trying to cut on carbs to only oats in the morning and either whole wheat pasta or rice PWO, but not much progress.

Any tips?

And as far as I've heard/experienced, core work doesn't really flatten your stomach, does it? Or is it just an illusion based on improved posture with core work?

Yeah I have mild scoliosis and I hate workin on my abs as well. My back gets worse and I recently felt pain when I was working out Whats helped me is eating alotta salads, greens and this excercise. My stomach was never really fat but I def lacked definition before this.



Not as bad as situps and you can only get better at it.

Deadlifts are your answer. Start light and build to strength.

Since I've been doing deadlifts and squats I feel more in tune with my body. Like Ronnie says your core is the key. It is the foundation to lifting. If you have a string core you have a strong body, arms, legs, shoulders, back. It gives you an extra boost while lifting isolation weights.

Ronnie I dunno if you get this on your program and diet. I can eat clean for a good week or two. Then I crave fat, carbs, fast food sh*t I deprived my body from getting. After I consume them I can switch back to a clean eating habit with ease. I can't stop craving for fat and carbs and feel I have to eat them because my body is screaming for them not because my mind wants to eat them. (If that makes sense?).

Yea, generic whey and creatine is all u need. As long as the creatine is from a reputable brand, you're all good. Creatine monohydrate is the cheap stuff and does the job well.

Have you heard of Krealkalyne? Its a creatine pill.

My back is just tight all the time. I constantly have to stretch it out.

My posture has been pretty bad also since I have a desk job and often work 60+ hours a week.
