all ross albums was hot it had good singles and good bangers.

ross isn't a lyrical rapper to me so I wouldnt put him on nas, jayz, eminem, lupe, raekwon level.

but ross is on a mainstream level and that doesnt mean you have to be lyrical to be mainstream.

Also, Ross is more true to the hip-hop culture.

No Coldplay collabs, no Heartbreaks, no beach chairs.

Not yet anyway, Ross is the most consistent HIP HOP artist there is today.

Ross has that "Lay Back" track with Robin Thicke off Trilla........does that count against him..?

Peter Rosenberg proved that most of what Jay-Z raps about is flying over his head.

Ross mos def goin towards the white market with his last release, thats why i wasnt fu*kin with some songs....its a shame he has to water down his music

i been to a ross show, i aint see a single white face, but i'mma guess that might change if this new album is more "soft"....end of the day money wins 9/10

Nah bruh, let's just keep it at Ross being consistent......no need to start saying he's as "lyrical" as Jay.......he drops good albums.....let's leave it at that lol

Ross Free Mason verse is his best shytt, Jay got him on flow though, but that verse topped Jays for me....I like how Ross approached the topic and tried something "different" cant say the same for Hov

Ross keeps it true the essence of organic black music, he consistently incorporates Soul elements and collabs with Soul artists while JayZ has recently tried to incorporate Euro elements and throw Europeon artists on his albums...some of that sh*t sound techno

A Ross album will give you Jon Legend, a JayZ album will give you Chris Martin.

jay is on another cloud ,same for NAs for he´s always forgotten because he doesnt drop an album as often

even if i m not a big ross fan but its true ,he´s been number 1 for 2,3 years now ,cant front if his next album is dope that will be a big statement to the hip hop world

i dont even feel like there s someone stepping up to openly compete with him (lets see what fif does when the album drops in july)

Has Jay not done the soulful tracks before? You want artists to grow and try something new right? What's wrong with working with Chris Martin......beach chair was pretty dope.......

Ross is lyrical have you heard Free Mason and Mafia Music 2.

is he as good as jay-z today. Yes he proved that on Free Mason.
he probably didn't even write his verse, since when has Ross been rapping about 5 percenters and pyramids

reminds me of a certain ghost-writer

You must have never been to jail. CO's is part of the whole process, some cool, some not. Some check to see if you got the extra hotsauce and bbq, or if you got too many oranges(serious), while some smell the weed you just smoked mixed with baby powder that you just was blowing into the air to cover the smell, and say nothing.

I dont know which William was, but I personally dont trip off sh*t like that, because Ive been on that side, so all I care about is music. I just remember how glorious I felt riding on 24's on South Beach playing Hustlin, ever since then I been a fan.

Im not black, not white, Im spanish, but one thing Im not is a square. With that being said, Ross hasnt sold out, just yet, I think he might soon, but it hasnt happened yet, and he has been the most consistent, to me, while staying as close to the culture as he can.

c'mon son today yes he is.

you gonna act like ross didn't hold his own and had a better verse against jay-z on free masons.
If we're talking about that 1 verse......then I will give him that........if we're going to take that 1 verse and act like he spits at that level.......every verse......nah bruh.......

Jay is still > Ross

No hate or anything...I play both on the regular

Thats the dumbest sh*t i ever heard in my life.

Did you just imply that "Teflon Don" was going towards a white market??????

Can you name me a white feature on that album or a sample from a white artist or even a white producer?

Is this what the white market looks like: Erykah Badu, Jon Legend, Trey Songz,
Chrisette Michelle, & Raphael Saadiq??

Were is the POP crossover song on that album to market towards the white consumer?

blueprint 3 is a banger...Jay has 12 number ones in a row and would have had 13... Unfinished business came in number 2! haha oh not coming in number one 12/13 times is inconsistent for boxden i guess??
