According to the National Football Post's Greg Gabriel, LSU CB Morris Claiborne was diagnosed with a learning disability in high school.
This helps explain why he registered a four on the Wonderlic Test. Per Gabriel, colleges that recruited Claiborne knew of the learning disability, which affects the player's ability to read. "Claiborne’s test score was NOT a true indicator of his intelligence," Gabriel writes. "He can and does learn."

damn so what does that really mean in terms of nfl translation? Dudes gonna need a study buddy for his playbook?

Les Miles goes straight to the ghetto in the poorest sections of New Orleans to recruit talent. If you can run really fast, then you made the team. I don't know Morris but I've heard him speak, and yes, he sounds like a dumbass. Ty Mathieu better start studying or else he'll get a lower score

Its not about what he does in games... If your that dumb your life after sports is almost pre-determined... Seeing how in football he probably will retire in his early to mid-30's if he is any good... You have to educate these kids better than that... This is why so many end up in terrible shape after sports

some of you dudes in here are funny as hell you know Frank Gore scored a 6 and Patrick Peterson scored a 9 Pryor got a 7 Chris Johnson a 10.

A 2009 study by Brian D. Lyons, Brian J. Hoffman, and John W. Michel found that Wonderlic test scores failed to positively and significantly predict future NFL performance for any position. The Lyons study also found that the relationship between Wonderlic test scores and future NFL performance was negative for a few positions, indicating the higher a player scores on the Wonderlic test, the worse the player will perform in the NFL.

Well no doubt about physical performance, still doesn't change the fact these men are borderline retarded.

The Lyons study also found that the relationship between Wonderlic test scores and future NFL performance was negative for a few positions, indicating the higher a player scores on the Wonderlic test, the worse the player will perform in the NFL.

So the logic is, the less you think the better you'll be in the league? I guess that does make sense, for players football is all instincts.... but I still dont believe the smarter you are the worse you'll be in the NFL lol.

Either way, at the end of the day football isn't a common sense test. It's physical vs physical. All the X's and O's come from the coaches and for the captains on the team to interpret to the team.
