Eminem only put out 2 great albums that decade, same with 50 except most people don't even consider The Massacre to be that great. Kanye ran sh*t since 2004 from production to features to singles to platinum albums, he's been everywhere dropping quality sh*t in the genre.

If you're talking about sales then no, if you're talking about influence then you've got an argument.

I'm speaking all together. Eminem had the most sales by far but he didn't contribute nearly as much to the genre as Kanye.

Kanye has contributed AT LEAST 4 classics from 2000-2009

The Blueprint
The College Dropout
Late Registration
BE

Like I said, his influence and impact branches much farther than his own work. Eminem and 50

Kanye contributed a lot to where hip hop is at now. Personally, I pretty much stopped checking for his music after graduation, but you can't deny that he has been huge in hip hop for that time period.

I don't know anyone who doesn't consider Be a classic, and you have to put them together to even get close to Kanye's classics this decade. Don't forget he shifted the production game to a different method of soul samples that carried the mid 2000s then changed the production game AGAIN when 808s dropped. Cudi, Drake, Wayne, been showing the effects to Kanye's influence from it to this day. Impact is more than sales, that's like saying Relapse had more impact than The Blueprint 3 because it sold a little bit more.
