What would he have learned one more year at Duke? He didn't fit K's schemes and he was the non typical Duke player. I don't get the concept of staying one more year.

Stay for what? You learn how to be a pro in the pros geniuses. He's got 2 maybe 3 years to improve and impress in order to get that next payday.

Rivers is ready. Y'all do know that they draft off potential these days right? In the NBA world, you always strike when the iron is hot. If he's considered a lottery now then theres no where else to go but down. Why risk that just to come back and play for Duke?

His goal wasn't to play at Duke. It was to Play in the league.

so far most kids who stay 1yr of college become top 10 draft picks either become role players or take 4-5yrs to become a star.

NBA need to make a rule 2yrs of college.

what they should do is use the college baseball system(that includes if a high school player wants to try to go pro then they can try to go pro)

Look at Kyrie Irving, then look at Austin Rivers and you'll see exactly why Austin needs another year at Duke.

yea true but most of time players out of h.s. dont be sh*t or take awhile to develop to become a star player.

if you do a ratio of players out of h.s. top 10 pick or top 15 who actually became star players you will find that most of time their not worth drafting yet.
