yeah in San Francisco not in Oakland...City of Oakland needs the Warriors to stay, the Raiders sued the damn city and the A's are purposely trying to keep fans away to get a city with no money to build them a new stadium
Ellison lives in the Bay Area he wanted his own team yes but he's also the type of person who would make sure to do what's best for the city. He's not one of these billionaires like Lacob who used to own a casino and just wants to be in a big city that doesn't need any help with their local economy. Ellison is one of those Silicon Valley millionaires who's all zen, supports/donates to health care/education and wants to give back to the people.
btw I'm from the Bay (Richmond) and can't stand the fu*king Lakers, everyone from around here grew up with them winning and blah blah blah magic johnson, kobe bryant...the second the warriors win a championship (whenever that may be hopefully I live to see it) everyone will jump on their d!cks just like the SF Giants. Wouldn't mind the San Jose Grizzlies either at least the name would somewhat make sense
I want the Warriors to stay in Oakland since its just a short bart ride over to the games (I'm from Richmond too) but fact is the city of Oakland is broke as sh*t and they barely wanna provide any money to throw down on stadiums. They've had this "City Center" idea over in Oakland for idk how long where Raiders, Warriors & A's would all get a new stadium in the same area as they're in now I believe but the city just doesn't have the money to help fund it.
I wouldn't mind it if the Warriors moved to Frisco if they're gonna be right by AT&T park
Would still be easy access, just a few extra dollars on the Bart that's all.
BTW fu*k the Lakers
I have friends who are Lakers fans and I honestly rarely ever kick it with em during basketball season. Once they start talking that Kobe sh*t I tune em the fu*k out. Even worse are the people who say "Yeah I fu*k with the Warriors but I'm a Lakers fan too"
People like that can't even be taken seriously
