there was nothin wrong wit lin gettin mad. he plays with heart. by him bi*chin, thats not him sayin im the leader, thats him tellin his teammates to step the fu*k up. lin is not the best player on this team but i think for them to win in the playoffs, hes going to need to step up, not the way he was playin at first but about 10 ast and less then 3 tos. he makes a lot of mistakes but the kid plays with heart.

i think he played well with baron in the game at the same time. it put less pressure on the kid and let him be aggresive when he needed to be. i think his biggest issue is his ball handling. he doesnt have great ball handlin skills, and he stops his dribble too early sometimes and cant go to his left. he plays hard thou. people forget that this is still a brand new team. they dont even kno their rotations. they just need to get to the playoffs.

To everyone not a Knicks fan, I apologize to you all for thinking some of the things you do about Knicks fans. Some people here think past accomplishments elsewhere give a pass for sh*tty play now and can't see a good thing when it happens in front of them. Spare some of these people a little bit, our team has been sh*t since 2000, give them a little break and realize we all don't think this way.

Coming from someone who has not missed a game this season and seen every great run and garbage streak some things are obvious and need to be addressed:

1.) Amare came in when no one wanted to be a.ssociated with us and became the team leader, bottom line. He played like the leader and was embraced. Anyone who thought about trading him I told them to fu*k off and he was the heart of this team. Then the lockout happened and he literally forgot what it was like to do any of the things he did for us last season. He is playing terrible non existent defense and people are posting video evidence in other threads. If he would just pretend to give a sh*t we wouldn't be battling back from being down 25 every night.

2.) Melo is showing just as much effort as Amare is. He has his flashes where he puts the team on his back but then he fizzles out after doing that for 3 minutes. Most nights lately he shoots 4-30 and does nothing to help. If he would care more imagine how many more games we would have won and what seed we'd be in in the Eastern Conference.

3.) Jeremy Lin has earned the right to be pissed off when their is a lack of effort. He hasn't done this for other things just effort related things. How many times have some of you watched a game and gotten pissed off at a player for a lazy play, regardless of who your team is? By some of people's logic here, no one can get mad at them because they aren't on the court putting up points and having all star votes. We've played better with a team led by Lin, basic facts. Stop the bullsh*t, regardless of his value to you stat wise on the depth chart, he is an important part of the team and his participation results in us playing better.

4.) The biggest part of if the Knicks will be successful is the jizz rag coach we have. When D'Antoni is fired and we get a coach that Pat Knight's his players then we'll see more effort come from our players. Until then the Knicks will continue to play pick up ball for a coach who could give a sh*t less and laughs during the post game interviews.

Lin aint earn his clout to get in n99@z azzez
Give a full season/offseason under tha belt. Put on more muscle......assasin in the making right there.
He went on a historical run when he had that green lite....I'd ditch Dumbtony, get melo a therapist....and Flip Stat for some Defense and athleticism.

Knicks went 7-0 against a bunch of scrubs. They won on pure energy with Bill Walker, Steve Novak and Jarred Jeffries. These dudes wouldn't even make it on another teams roster. If you thinks thats the formula to getting a ring, show me a team thats done it before.
Who brought that energy (LIN)? Imagine that type energy apply by talented players like Mello and Stat. The wins would certainly come. Too bad they are lazy.

melo and amare couldn't say anything to lin. he was basically untouchable.
1. knicks were winning without them
2. the world was on lin's side.
melo was in a no win situation. you heard the media. Can melo play with lin? you fukin kidding me? can a college national champ, 8 time or what ever allstar play with an undrafted cut 3 times free agent nobodys ever heard of?
its not about entitlements and accolades from the past, bro. It's about "NOW". About the present. It's about how the an 'undrafted cut 3 times free agent nobodys ever heard of PG" leading the Knicks to 7-1 when their "college national champ, 8 time or what ever allstar" was out. The New Yorkers are starved for a winner and Lin wants to Win.

yea, i dont wanna overrate lin, but he has the right to be mad. Jeremy lin is the reason the knicks are at the 8th spot right now. not because of melo or stat. melo and stat respect that. hes not the reason there goin on this 4 game losin streak. its mostly dantoni but jeremy lin has earned his right to get mad. hes not the best player on the team but hes always givin credit to his teammates when there winnin so y not get on their back when their strugglin, thats what winners do.

melo needs to start movin off the ball, gettin off screens and hittin mid range shots. amare has to play how he played last year. they have to play with heart, which is what lin is doin.

every thing you said is on point. but for the knicks to make a run in the playoffs, amare and melo are gonna have to come up big. but jeremy lin has proven he can play. he still has to work on his ball handlin and goin to the left but he is the biggest reason there at that 8th spot.

without lin, knicks dont make the playoffs this year. but now the big players have to step up and just blend in, dont force anything. the reason the knicks were playin so good is cuz they were playing like a team. i blame dantoni for this but when they jus give the ball to melo and isolate, that doesnt help the team. melo needs to start comin of screens and hittin mid range shots. he doesnt need to score 25 pts. when knicks are strugglin, thats when you give it to melo and let him do his thing. but if he is comin off screens baron or lin will find him. they need to start playin hard and melo and amare are not doin that right now so lin has every right to get mad.

cookthacoke, If you look at the video amare started to box out, as soon as jennings shot, he had gooden on his back and even had his right arm holding gooden to his back, the ball just bounced off the rim long and allowed Gooden to make a tip. It happens. Not an excuse but also not a reason to hate.. I can understand the Knicks fans frustrations of Amar'e play all season but this play wasn't THAT bad, and surely didn't warrant Lin to yell at him like he's a fu*kin boss.

Lin aint no fu*kin vet to be yelling at a all-star, what has he done to even earn his stripes(give the knicks 2 fu*king good weeks?) While Amar'e resurrected their franchise last year? Because the media crowned Lin savior I guess he got free reigns.
god you sound like a lil bi*ch, stupid a.ss nutlovin n*gga. he can yell at his professional basketball teammates if they don't perform under pressure.
