I don't know a single thing about the stock market. I know it's been asked before, but besides investopedia, what do you recommend for someone who is an absolute beginner to learn more about the Market, and more specifically, Day Trading? If I have a couple hundred dollars to spare can I start out playing that until I get the hang of it? I'd like to start small and take any earnings I make to start playing with larger amounts. I work full time now so I wouldn't be able to do it full time yet, unless I really get good at it. I'm not expecting to get rich quick, I just want to learn, get good at it, and be able to possibly do it full time if I can get good enough.
Youtube has some good vids..other than Investopedia, Google can pretty much answer any question you have.
If you have a Half Price Books store near you check them out, their finance section is usually pretty good.
You'll need more than a couple hundred to start with. Probably at least $1,500 - $2,000. Can't do much with anything less than that when you consider trading fees.
