Depends on what type of investor/trader you want to be and what you're looking to trade. Short term? Learn technical analysis (TA). Long term, learn fundamentals... but TA is still important.

If you're interested in options check out

(has some good articles/info)

Check out a barnes & noble and their finance section. If there's a half priced books store near you they usually have a finance section also.
thank you boss.

HGG bullish risk reversal earlier this morning on the April options. 9x calls went off at .56 with 3,000 contracts. At .65 x .70 now.. I'm looking to enter on a pullback.

I wanna try short term for now. Day Trading and Options are intriguing to me.
Definitely need to learn TA then.

Not sure what you mean by a site that you can connect with your bank account? To transfer funds you mean? They should all provide that.

Plenty of options brokers .. Etrade, TDAmeritrade, OptionHouse, etc.

^^ If the 52 week range is between 19% - 39% and it's currently at 28.12% then that's average.

Mine says average is 26.83% and it's currently at about 26% so just about average.

I bought BHI calls last week btw, still holding. Big buyers last week...

^ Yeah that was a nice trade. Yesterday would have been a good time to get in as well. They were trading around .60

That's interesting though... it was at .60 yesterday but implied vol on the $60 strikes dropped 1%.

Anyone got any advice on defense and aerospace stock via ETF. I want to go with the mutual fund but I also need more say so in a controlled environment if that makes sense. I know next to nothing on ETFs at the moment.

I think a large investor is taking a large position in the company. And yes I also think they'll beat, but I don't care about the earnings.

None of the ETF's are very liquid for that sector. There's XAR, PPA, ITA ..those are the big 3 I believe.

I think you're better off investing in particular stocks in that sector rather than an ETF.

Duly noted, thanks. What did you think of Tesla and it's "record high" the other day.
