uhhh no matter what u think of the guy, FACTS ARE FACTS!!! Kobe has always had the luxury of playing with effective big men in the paint which is why he's such a one-dimensional player!!! sh*t if all Lebron and Wade had to do was shoot the ball and not worry about anything else, they'd have multiple titles by now too!!! HELLO!!! Wow the people on this site have to be the most biased, ignorant, dumb mothafu*kas ever!!!!
lol your fu*kin retarded.. how can you say they would have multiple championships. you know how hard it is to just win one championship.

In baseball terms, Kobe Bryant was born on third base and we’re allowing him to act like he hit a grand slam.

^^Incredible analogy and finally someone who's a well-known writer has the guts to say it

stop paying attention when he said Kobe could get 8 rings and still not be in their league

also Jordan had two hall of famers Pippen and Rodman

Bird had Mchale, Parrish, Walton, Ainge, Dennis Johnson on his title runs
Magic had Kareem, Worthy, on his title runs

unless you're Olajuwon - every player to win a title has another Hall of Famer on the squad.

So why do people/critics/writers keep bringing up Kobe had SHaq, when every player had another Hall of Famer on their team except Olajuwon?

james had little help with the second best player in the league on the court with him?

fu*k these articles and media groupies
lebron has had his chances
hes had teams crafted perfectly for him
and hes had two of the top 10 players in the league on his team for the last season and a half.
when are we going to stop making excuses for him?

People who agree don't get what the word rivalry means. You can't have one generation as a rival with a newer one.

One of the greatest players of all time is only great because LeBron isn't a clutch player? Makes no sense at all, can't even stretch that to make sense. Kobe's ranking in all time points, explosive performances, game winning shots, outstanding longevity, work ethic, skill, natural ability, 5 titles, and 2 finals MVPs are what puts him amongst the greats, nothing to do with LeBron.

Fact is Kobe is playing for legacy and nothing more at this point, it's been this way for a few seasons now, it's all about how many rings he'll end with and how many totals he'll accumulate for his ultimate ranking. The days of Kobe vs. current best player are over, it's now Kobe vs. Jordan, Magic, Bird, Russell, Kareem, etc.

If someone likes this article explain to me this...

Kobe bust Mikes a.ss almost every game they played against each other. It would prolly be a total of 7 games, was Kobe his rival at that time?

So stupid because nothing was ever given to Kobe. He had to ride the bench, he always had to tone his game down for others, he had to put the work in to become as skilled as he is, he had to play through many injuries that sidelines guys all the time, he had to win without Shaq to receive due credit for the one's with Shaq, he had to go through rebuilding processes, he had to score more points than nearly all guys who's played the game, he had to play through media roasting his every move(like all the other greats) Nobody ever gave Kobe the world, he earned it all. Takes a real idiot to dig that deep to say a legend ain't sh*t after he's proved the logical sh*t wrong.

thats like saying lin is better than kobe because linsanity bust kobe a.ss up and down that msg floor

if you match up mid-to-late 80s jordan that used to rock the gold chain with baby afro kobe that wore #8, jordan would bust that n*gga a.ss every time

you can't say kobe is a rival just because he beat jordan after he fell off

Kobe has 2 finals MVPs. You don't get that by just being on a great team being carried. By that logic all finals MVPs just carried his team, which still leaves Kobe at 2, a level most players aren't on. Kareem only has 2....
