I have been on record saying I would love Wallace in the Bay with his boy PWillis but the more I think about it I actually dont. If the 49ers are going to spend for a FA WR I would prefer it be Marques Colston. If it's not him then I say sign a couple of next level WRs then grab one in the draft to groom as your number one for what we would pay one big name WR.

I'm not hating, I'm just curious...

Can Alex Smith accurately throw the deep ball on a regular basis? It seemed like the 49ers offense was built around a short passing game. That's why I didn't think it would be smart for them to sign someone like Desean or Wallace who are burners if the QB can't complete the passes to them.

We need a Big Body receiver such as Bowe or Jackson... Not Mike Wallace...

Although his speed alongside Davis can open up things for the offense, I'm not down for spending Big $$ on a burner if Alex can't consistently hit him on the deep ball...We were horrible in the red Zone and he isn't going to solve that problem...

He has always hit Vernon accurately on deep balls

Have we ever had a WR with the skills Mike Wallace possesses since Smith has been there? My guess is no so why would be expecting a QB who isnt the best or close to the best in the league to hit very average guys like Crabtree, Morgan, Ginn or Williams accurately deep when them fools hardly ever get deep. sh*t, Alex Smith is probably surprised when they break open because he isnt used to seeing that sh*t.

I will never say dude is a great QB but I cant blame him either when his targets aren't that great either. One or both sides has to be great for the sh*t to work. I have never seen both sides be average and produce winning results.

You have to take into consideration that Vernon is being guarded by LB's and SS that aren't used to his speed. Therefore, it's easier to hit Vernon in stride...

I'm not gonna bring up Smith's accuracy problems again because that's a dead horse by now but Mike Wallace isn't the receiver I think the team needs...

1.) Bowe
2A) Jackson
2B.) Garcon

Those are the receivers I feel we should target...
