Lebron averages as many shots at the rim as Dwight Howard does (6.7 per game). He doesn't take any mid range shots (3.7 shots per game between 3-16 feet from the basket.

He takes a lot of long jumpers and that's really it.. And it's not like he's even hitting them at a high percentage.

The fact that Lebron shoots 77% when he's at the rim and they account for a large proportion of his shot attempts is a huge reason why his FG% is what it is.
right because Kobe is shooting the best % from the toughest spots on the floor

16-23ft 46%

Everyone can use this link and find out the truth

sort it however you'd like.

Don't know why Kobe stans stay getting offended

Here ya go -

from 15-22 feet

Kobe - 95/224 = 42 %
LeBron - 72/174 = 41 %

still not good at shooting jumpers I guess

I didn't know he could leave from 15-22 ft away and dunk/lay it up

Just because I point out that Lebron's shots are still primarily taken near the rim, it means I'm offended?

And this "stan" sh*t is getting out of hand. Take the info how you want. FG% is not an absolute number that can tell you how good of a shooter a guy is. I'll concede that Lebron is a very good shooter at the polar ends of the half court - from close and far. His mid-range game still leaves a lot to be desired.

kobe could probably have 7 rings by now if he shot better than 40% in his finals...............what you think lebron would be doing in the finals with phil jackson coaching him if he's dominating the regular season like this??

I'm not. Since Everyone on here says wade is better then bron I hold wade to a higher level. After they won the finals the following yr they get swept by the bulls, then in '09 they lose to the hawks. And in '10 they lost to the celtics. Lebron would have not got swepted by the bulls in '07 or lose to the hawks in '08 with his misfits in clevland those years. Wades supposed to be the best player in the nba, He's supposed to make his players better no matter who they are. Just like kobe did with smush & kwame.........................
do u realize that he had dislocated his shoulder and needed surgery but rehabbed to come back for that bulls series? would it have been better had he not even been on the court? ur basically nitpicking on whether he should have lost in the first or second round with teams that weren't going anywhere anyway. discredit them all u want, but lebron's cast was a hand-in-glove fit for him. that team wasn't put together by accident, they tweaked and retooled and improved every season. if winning game 7 against the hawks is really ur sticking point, i guess that's on u.

you know its true..........someone asks how kobe is better than lebron, you bring up rings (team accomplishment while phil jackson is coaching him). there is no way u can say kobe is a better PLAYER than lebron.............not possible lebron shuts him down in their regular season matchups too...........it's not a knock on kobe, lebron is just one of those players that come around every 20 or 30 years no streaky shooting around here, he's efficient as fu*k

btw go look at the score for the suns/lakers game right now to see how kobe's doing without phil jack lebron had that same coach and got the CAVS to a 66 win season. imagine what would happen if phil was coaching him

fu*k u talking about clown 5 out of his 7 finals series he shot 41% or under from the field

he gets carried in the finals... without ron artest in that game 7 or shaq those 3 finals and pau/bynum in the other one he would be in trouble....

he did have a good series in the orlando one tho

lol @ he never got held below his averages

So without teammates he'd be in trouble..

lol.

That's like saying Jordan would have been in trouble without Pippen, Rodman, Grant, Paxson and Kerr.
Or Bird without DJ, McHale, Parish & Walton
Or Magic without Kareem, Worthy, Cooper & McAdoo.

There's plenty of ways you can say Kobe is better than Lebron.

Rings only start the argument.

And the fact remains that even if rings are a team effort, Lebron actively prevented his team from winning last year with how much he sucked in the finals.

And Lebron didn't win 60 games until his 4th season under Mike Brown. And since Lebron can't shoot the midrange if his life depended on it, and has no ability to play off the ball, he wouldn't fare well in the triangle.
