you even watch basketball? theres a reason this kid wasnt given a shot til now, you think hes been beastin in practice and coaches refuse to play him or something? lol d'antoni is known for playing ANYONE. hell he's started iman and landry as rookies. you think he was just a hidden gem? for gods sake if baron got healthy sooner, no one would ever of heard of jeremy lin. now people are on his d!ck for having a few good games. i love the headline reading fans, you one of the dudes labeling him a top 5 point guard? lol..clutch and pressure situations? he hit a big 3. if he didnt turn the ball over so much, it wouldnt of been needed.
and a real point guard is someone who distributes the ball without averaging 7 turnovers. you saw duhons numbers with us right? you saw feltons numbers with us right? what do feltons numbers look like now? what about duhons? this system is BUILT for point guards to rack up a.ssists.
this is why even though hes a knick, i cant wait for him to have his normal average games, just to see people like you slowly stop commenting on the situation.
You know nothing of basketball...or sports if you don't think good players have been overlooked before or come out of nowhere. People would even look at Lin and not give him a chance

The kid was averaging 27 points and 8 a.ssists coming out the gate. He is the reason the Knicks were winning. To take that away from him is pretty sad

I do agree that Lin got lucky because of the system he's in, but he's performing at a high level within the system. Even Steve Nash had between 3-4 turnovers EVERY game within this system. You talking like he'll average 7 turnovers a game forever, that will OBVIOUSLY have to drop in order for him to sustain solid team play. And it most likely will, it's not a matter of physical ability, it's a mental part of the game that any smart PG can improve on.

Chris Duhon's numbers were no where near as close as what Lin is putting up...and Felton shot a horrible a.ss percentage. Those PG's played completely different from Lin too.

I watch Lin play and it's clear that he plays a smart game and puts the offense in good positions. I don't see why he can't develop into a Steve Nash like player... he's a 6'3 PG, that's a huge advantage.

People talking about his downfall has to answer the question of, what part of his game is going to go away that's he's shown?

You bring up Derrick Rose and Rajon Rondo as comparison's of who he'll never be... that alone tells me where you meter is on the knowledge of this discussion.
