Kobe is at the bottom of the barrel of the top stars in all aspects when it comes to clutch
he takes and misses so many that people r desensitized to it and only remember the ones he makes. it's a pretty common heuristic, it's not their fault .

EDIT: read up, BX

"in his prime" i am a.ssuming some of that is not in his prime but yea you made your point...how does Rose and KD do? probably a smaller sample size i know KD is 43% this year and was 41% last year (Rose was 40%) interesting enough this season Bron is at 33% but that number probably increases as season goes on.
Updated my post for duran't and rose...also it has every season from 00-01 to now so that almost his whole career

He sucks at that too

the fact that the rest of those players combined = 3 rings and kobe = 5

just makes me laugh at how desperately you feel the need to reach
Ok what does that have to do with being clutch tho?

Yea either one proves the point...just feel like if you're up 5 and taking a shot you make that ain't really clutch to hit a jumper putting you up 7

with 5 minutes left a 5 point lead is nothing in the nba. The player would be criticized for being not clutch if they missed up 5 and the other team came back but again those kd/rose numbers are very similar in % either way, rose was like 41% in margin of 5 games.

Not going to argue against it and the numbers still prove the point (with everyone having a slight increase)
