The Wild Card in the National League could come from any division this year the way I see it. The Braves aren't guarunteed sh*t.
East.

If it's a 4 team format for the postseason, it's going to be Giants, Cards, Phillies, Marlins.

I thought it was this year. They still suck and yeah I went a little homer with my picks but I think our pitching will carry us.

Jair will be dealt before the trade deadline and one of our minor league pitchers will be as well. Probably Delgado

I'm not gonna skewer anybody for going homer on their picks. The fact that you made em is appreciated.

The problems the Royals have is their offense wasn't consistent enough to keep up with the Runs their starters gave up. Hosmer and Moustakas had a solid month where they tore it up, but Mous faded out and Hosmer went in and out. I like the Royals in a year, but not that much.
I think you need to go back and look at the stats. Moose ended the year on a hot as sh*t (and yeah he started off slow as sh*t) Ill give you that.

Hosmer in and out? Really?

Then why are you trying to trade him?
Why haven't you traded him yet?

1. scott boras client and this is the last year of his contract
2. injury prone
3. we have the best pitching prospects in all of baseball and 3 that could break in the rotation right now.
4. ppl are trying to low ball us and get him on the cheap.

 StuNNa said:
Jair doesn't strike out enough batters to maintain a sub 2.00 ERA. His ERA was damn near 6.00 after the ASB. If he is as good as you think he is, you wouldn't want to trade him.

his era jumped up that high because he was still hurt which is why we shut him down a few weeks later...and i know his era never would have stayed that low bc you are right he isnt a strike out pitcher but he did have it until the allstar break, so you cant take that way from him.

I picked Teheran as NL ROY but that's probably a homer pick as well. I think he'll come in after one of our starters gets injured and never go back to the minors. Also, once JJ is traded, he'll take his spot.

Atlanta should be fine if three things happen:
1. Chipper can play about 100 games
2. Tyler Pastornicky can be an average short stop
3. Heyward & Uggla actually hit like they should

Great rotation and great bullpen should help with everything. I just don't think Miami has enough yet.

I could see the Cardinals dipping a bit as well

Red Sox fans will freak out but that rotation and bullpen doesn't scare me very much. They could be like the Yankees of last year though and survive off of their offense. However, they won't win in the post season (if they make it) with a crappy rotation.

The cardinals have some ??'s though My biggest question is what are they going to do with out Pujols? they will probably throw holliday/berkman back to back and while dangerous....

I had both on my fantasy team.

Hosmer was .310 on June 7th, went down to .261 June 24th.

From there he had a hot and cold July-August and tore it up in September.

I missed Moose's hot finish so pardon my ignorance on that. That team is going to be team I'm wrong about, and I'm okay with that.

I can see the Cardinals ending up like the Phillies and having barely enough offense to get by. It's easy to get ahead in a six team division like the Central where only three teams have something going for themselves.
