tyler and his n*ggas,(and other new artist) are like nah fu*k that, production? i'll do that, i'll make my own sound! promo? where photo shop at, i'll do my own sh*t, make my own tumblr, get my own blog pop'n, fu*k your blog i don't need it. i'll shoot my own videos. i'll make my own merch, i'll make my own clothing line, i'll open my own store on the block i grew up on and employee my n*ggas, i'll make my OWN movement.
essentially n*ggas was straight out of high school and got the attention of the nation in a very non traditional manner because the game got to big and imploded on itself and these new grassroots movements are a reaction to the previous era. this feat is actually very impressive.
