I admit I'm a hardcore pro wrestling fan who's knowledgeable about the inter-workings of Pro Wrestling but Pro wrestling and MMA are basically the same thing, ones fixed, the other isn't (most of the time). They're both entertainment.
Stopped reading here...... ok I'm lying I kept reading.....
I admit I'm a hardcore pro wrestling fan who's knowledgeable about the inter-workings of Pro Wrestling but Pro wrestling and MMA are basically the same thing, ones fixed, the other isn't (most of the time). They're both entertainment. The point of a both businesses is to make money f!ghts, I don't see how Bisping vs Silva = money f!ght.
Infact, Chael vs Silva 2 would of happened already if it wasn't for Anderson's bullsh*t. So the UFC is forced in a position where they have to keep Chael active and the hype for Anderson vs Chael 2 in the public eye while Anderson makes the UFC and Chael jump through hurdles to keep this f!ght relevant.
Bisping is the final hurdle that Anderson can throw Chael and the UFC through and best believe they aren't going to let Chael fail now after all this sh*t.
Some of your favorite f!ghts in Pride were rigged, to the promoters in Japan who did this, that's not looked down upon because it's about entertainment and that's what the people want to pay to see. The people want to see Chael vs Anderson 2 and Dana isn't going to let Bisping win because that's not what the people want.
I'm sure 90% of UFC f!ghts are as real as it fu*king gets but then you have sh*t like this where it's just better for the whole company and everyone involved (including Bisping) to take the dive and do what's right for the company.
If Bisping wins tonight then I will never call the UFC out on this again and it will be a learning lesson to me but I'm telling you this match is set up.
Alright I'm serious about my statement now. Your mind is warped and you are going to believe what you want to believe so its no point in me trying to help you but I'll do it anyways.
Pro wrestling and MMA are not the same thing. You can't even successfully separate sport from entertainment, the real from fake. The only thing you said right was
the point of businesses is to make money
but no one in there right mind would risk there life's work, the integrity of their business and sport, an international and billion dollar industry on a couple million dollar payday. How stupid does that sound? That doesn't even make any sense. Do you seriously believe that?
Michael Bisping has a whole country behind him. He makes money even if you don't see it. Pride was rigged? If so, you see where that got them right? Is any of this making sense to you? Rigged, taking dives, fixing f!ghts leave that sh*t in the WWE
Just to throw this out there (and to show I'm not making fun of you watching wrestling) I was a big wrestling fan. WWF/E, WCW, NWA, ECW, etc.. I go as far back as watching Hogan (finally) putting someone over like the Ultimate Warrior (my fav wrestler). I watched Shawn Michaels throw Marty Jennety through the mirror. I have the first ladder match on VHS somewhere in my house. Stopped watching sometime before Wrestlemania XX. At the same time my mind wasn't warped like yours. I can separate reality from fake.
