That's a stupid comparison, Tressel didn't have 1/10th the legacy that Paterno has. Tressel didn't have the many members of staff and school administration playing for him either.
You love to be contrary because you need something to do with your life, but you're not really doing yourself any favors giving a pass to someone who allowed a treacherous child rapist continue to prey on victims. That is what we're talking about here right? If you know someone is raping kids at your job, do you go tell the supervisor or go to the police? If nothing comes up from the situation...do you feel like you should go forward to the police then?
Use common sense Javon, of course Paterno didn't run the school, but are you going to act like Paterno didn't turn Penn State from an Ag school into one of the top research campuses in the nation by bringing a winning football team to the campus? You don't think he wasn't the alpha and omega of that campus? If you don't then, as you so smugly would say, when you have time, please read this piece from SI.
1st off if I saw a child getting r*ped at my job I would do stop it = Mcqueary was too bi*chmade to do that.
Then I would definitely call the cops = Mcqueary was too bi*chmade to do that.
Mcqueary instead went to poppa and then finally told someone at penn state the following day which was Paterno.
NOW if I was in paterno's shoes and Mcqueary came and told me this after the fact the following day and does not give me specific details about what actually happened.
In my head I am going to think why da fu*k didn;t he stop it?
why da fu*k didn't he call the police?
why da fu*k didn't he tell me this lastnight?
Too many questions weird reactions in regards to what Mcqueary did = im reporting this to my boss = The Athletic Director. Thats his job
