The fumble really was close but if the referee didn't overrule the initial call of it being a fumble then the Giants would have ended up with the ball since the evidence is inconclusive. Giants fans were acting like the refs were screwing them all game though. Every fumble and incompletion after that talking about "watch them reverse this". It wasn't nearly as bad as some were making it out to be.
For the record, there were also a couple of late hit/roughing the QB calls that were BS. The no-call on Eli and the phantom late hit on Rodgers, for instance. Other than those three calls I don't think the Giants were screwed too bad. Especially considering they won, and all.
yeah but those are 3 BLATANT call/no calls in a playoff game. Unacceptable...
They were trying to set up their own Super Bowl, it worked getting us out of they way with the fumble, then they tried it in the Tebow/Steelers game and it didn't work.
No conspiracy over here they were flatout cheating Donaghy style.
