I don't think Drake has to respond. At the end of the day how many fans, really care what common is saying. I mean as hiphop (lyrical) fans, we care. But we are just a small fraction of how many fans Drake really has. At the end of the day, Drake will still sale records and common will look like a old head who wants the spot light back who's jealous over Serena Williams.
Of course he doesn't have to respond... no one ever does though. But there's egos and pride in this mix here.
People liked to throw lil jabs here and there at Drake without saying his name.. and in that breath, it was always perfect for him to not respond.
But Drake also came out and said if it's a problem, say his name.

Drake's not about to lose fans over this sh*t, nor is Common about to become super popular over this sh*t.. but this is rap, this is hip hop, and you get tried sooner or later. That "ignore it until it goes away" sh*t is for the birds
