Santorm that fu*king loony toon? Iowa for ya

god help us
He ain't lying, read what this guy did......

In his Senate office, on a shelf next to an autographed baseball, Sen. Rick Santorum keeps a framed photo of his son Gabriel Michael, the fourth of his seven children. Named for two archangels, Gabriel Michael was born prematurely, at 20 weeks, on Oct. 11, 1996, and lived two hours outside the womb.

Upon their son's death, Rick and Karen Santorum opted not to bring his body to a funeral home. Instead, they bundled him in a blanket and drove him to Karen's parents' home in Pittsburgh. There, they spent several hours kissing and cuddling Gabriel with his three siblings, ages 6, 4 and 1 1/2. They took photos, sang lullabies in his ear and held a private Mass.

They need to dead this schedule of Iowa being first. Santorum with the lead, although he's probably no higher than fourth nationally. In 2008, mike huckabee won Iowa and McCain was fourth. Iowa results are basically irrelevant, and misleading since trailing candidates can just pour resources into Iowa to get numbers but poll really low in other states.

Santorum will win this caucus wow maybe you should just blame the media and kick a.ss promoting yourself in the last few days.
Yea. Media has been slobbing Newt Gingrich since he became a frontrunner with Romney. Santorum (along with Huntsman) get next to zero coverage.. But Santorum is leading halfway thru and Newt is way back.

But I'm sure this is still somehow due to media bias against Paul and in favor of Santorum.

Ron Paul is the Tim Tebow of politics. People don't thing he's a bad guy, but hate him because they can't stand his groupies who will hype him up nonstop, over-report his small successes while blaming bias for his failures.

NBC News projects Ron Paul to finish in 3rd place.

Fox News previously projected Gingrich in 4th and Perry in 5th.

If Ron Paul doesn't win this Iowa election does this mean he's out of the presidential run?

No, in terms of delegates, Iowa is small. What matters most with Ohio is the perception of the outcome. Money/support will likely dry up for Michele Bachmann. Rick Perry probably has the resources to compete in South Carolina. I'd imagine Newt Gingrich will do well enough to stick around. Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, and Ron Paul will all finish fairly close together in Iowa, but I think Santorum benefits most because he has outperformed expectations.

Romney will still probably win New Hampshire. It'll be interesting to see who wins South Carolina.

In sum, I don't think Paul has much of a shot at the nomination, but I don't think the results tonight are the cause. If he won big, that opinion may have changed, though.

In a national stage Ron Paul can compete with Obama, in this Republican vs Republican situation you can see he can hang with the top tier GOP names the media loves. Look at tonight in this tight as hell race he ends up just 3rd with almost the same votes as the top 2, that's a good look.

Other names like Newt/Bachmann/Perru get more media love but their ground game is trash and it shows in the polls as you saw tonight, Paul runs a traditional campaign with a ground game that makes the other look mediocre.

If he has that on a national level vs Obama it would be a very tight race, he would get Democrats tired of Obama, independents, but like he say here the hardest part would be getting wild republicans to trust him on small government.

please stop it no he cant none of these guys can

paul will not get liberals and he wont get conservatives. hyper conservatives will stay home or they will have a evangelical 3rd party candidate who will fracture republicans.

once he starts his federal government shouldnt do this that and the third he loses the middle

hes not an electable candidate. hes only "viable" now because of how bad the republican feild is this time around where everyone has had a turn at being front runner except huntmans whos the only one out of these people who could actually beat obama in a general election
