i got a 32gig during the first fire sale and to be honest, the hardware is solid as fu*k. HP shot themselves in the foot by pricing it to compete with the ipad instead of focusing on market share and allowing more people to get it at a reasonable price. The WebOS software is fu*king good but lack of apps kinda k!lls the experience.
If this thing had Android out of the box it wouldve been a serious contender to the iPad, but HP couldnt just dump WebOS after buying Palm. Still, when the Palm Pre, Pixi, etc failed, HP shouldve thought twice about building a tablet with that OS and sold an Android tablet at a slight loss and pushed developers to build some quality apps that they could eventually profit off of.
I like my touchpad, but theres NO fu*kIN WAY i would drop 600-700 on an iPad or any tablet. For that kind of $$ (plus a few more bucks) you can get a MacBook Air that's nearly as thin but with way more cababilities.
