actually...i agree with this review.

the album was corny, and it sounded like he wanted people to feel sorry for him. i'm all about lyrics, but it sounded confused...like he wanted to get ignorant, but stay conscious at the same time.

it could have came better, and im not a fan of lil' b either (at least gambino can rhyme...kind of), but keep in mind that the tracks on the album are pretty old. I'm pretty sure some of them were done a few years ago, with the exception of a handful.

i didn't like it...didn't sit well with me.

pitchfork is written by hipster pieces of crap who either review rap albums way too highly or shrug them off depending on what will make them seem hip or edgy.

Album, and this n*gga's entire rap persona is moldy cheeks to me, son.

This n*gga spits these Papoose level punchlines with the overbearing energy of a 5 year old on a sugar rush.

I'd rather listen to Carter IV than have this n*gga scream his 8th underthought "metaphor" about his d!ck and multicultured women at me.

That album is horrible. Taking a look at some of these posts defending it makes me drop my head in shame. BX's HHS section is like a special ed class.

Honestly, as a COHESIVE album, if thats your thing, I think its album of the year. Go ahead and crucifiy me bx...my body is ready. The album was honest, he had a variety of flows, he clearly did his hiphop homework. Production could have been better, his voice could be better, but wtt was a disappointment CONSIDERING its Jay and ye, even tho I still like it. And drake sh*t is fu*kin boring. He BARELY rapped on that sh*t and sonicaly was drawn out, and uninspired. I feel like the only person feeling that album was drake in his headphones. His first album wasn't great, but 3567337x better than take care.

I thought gambino channeled the best parts of good hip hop: ye's honesty creativity, unafraid to be poppy or rockish, Cudi sing song flow, eminem flow on a few tracks, story telling, lupes intensity and subject matter but in a less political way.

And this is coming from someone who liked wtt and hated drakes album, and I like drake.

Dude is white, he'll never relate to how blacks view other blacks and therefore will of course question the authenticity of dudes lines ...that aside though I agree with alot of what he says, the Kanye biting is heavy on that album, its exactly the way I felt after hearing it first time through.

I been looking at this dudes album and could never force myself to DL, his name alone strikes me as lame hipster type sh*t.

Lil B's album I'm gay actually was half and half. I could never stand dude but he always had dope a.ss production thanks to Clams. He kinda surprised me with that I'm Gay album. Production was dope. The general idea behind a few songs (like where he was coming from) was real. Just he doesn't sound comfortable on the mic and his presence and sh*t is real weak. He sounded like he was uncomfortable coming serious and talking about personal sh*t.
