For those saying why the players in china just dont say fu*k it and go back to the nba, they cant. the nba has an agreement with chinese teams, that if players from the nba sign their contracts then they cannot break them. So even if the players in china say fu*k i and leave, the nba wont bring them back because of the fiba agreement. So they just gonna have to stay there and play it out.

And no the nba can't force them to come back, but other nba players can. the smart players went to places where they can break their contracts. The dumbasses went to china.

If you want a list of players who are currently stuck overseas just go look at the nuggets roster
Denver only lost one potential player to China and thats Wilson Chandler.

JR & Kenyon are unrestricted free agents and most likely wasn't gonna resign with the Nuggets regardless of what happened with the CBA. I'll be shocked if they do return to the Nuggets.

other than that, them jokes ain't funny n*gga :nasmad:

at the thought of them forcing Ill Will and Kenyon to make bootleg Jordans under a shadow contract in some sweaty, tin-roofed hovel factory.

Those factory owners sure as hell won't give you a 50/50 deal

Maybe I have no idea, but who gives a sh*t if some China team doesn't let them out of their contracts? Just leave... you'll forfeit the rest of the money, but you can just come back to the States and make more money than you were over in China. Unless your a Chinese citizen, then I see absolutely no problem with just leaving...?

It's not like America recognizes anything that China does in a legal manner. It's not like Stern is going to prevent these players from playing in the NBA.

I just read some of the pages and all the, "Do you know what a contract is" type comments are beyond stupid.

The United States doesn't recognize China's contracts or will they force U.S. citizens to abide by them. These players have a contract with China. Unless there's something not being said, there's nothing from stopping these players from jumping on a plane and just coming home.

The only thing that could happen is the Chinese teams don't pay off the rest of the contracts to the players and possibly a fine for the players if they were ever to come back to China. The fu*k wanna stay in China if they aint getting paid anyway?

thanks mr lawyer sir, but you may want to do research before talking.

The Chinese Basketball a.ssociation passed a rule that its teams could sign only NBA free agents during the lockout, and it was made clear to those players they would have to play the full season to be given FIBA clearance letters to sign contracts with NBA teams.
