No. I can tell u wasn't around when Stillmatic dropped

Stillmatic was the rebirth of Nas......you kinda had to be there to know what I mean. Jay had him on the ropes and Nas came with the haymaker (Jay ain't been the same since but you wouldn't know this if you weren't around back then). Second Childhood has aged better than any song on Blueprint.
Your right because Jay ain't been the same....he got even BETTER and Second Child Hood isn't as ill as or better than 1. Mama Loves Me (The Blueprint) 2. Heart of the City or 3. Song Cry

The Blueprint is SOLID and is easy a number 1 album

As with all lists produced by magazines this one is flawed but it does it is supposed to do, which is spark debate. Personally if this includes genres outside of hip hop and if this is about quality and not sales or mainstream impact then there are a lot better albums than "The Blueprint" around. Even within the context of rap I think BP is not even Jays best album, but its all subjective and everyone has their list.
One nice thing I like about lists like this is that it gets you to go back and look at the quality of music there has been post 2000 even with the amount of nonsense we have also had to endure. There is so much stuff coming out on a seemingly daily basis that I sometimes forget to go back and appreciate the good ish.

Haven't even opened to look at list yet & I already feel the height of disrespect they putting the bullsh*t on pedastool with....magazines became a non factor really after the east coast started fading out commercially & n*ggas started cooking cutting.

the fact that no one besides you was surprised it being listed at #3, kinda makes you look like you see 50 cent before you hear the music and become mad even before the coins stop spinning in the intro.
..and your response makes you look like a twat.

Number one is the only correct thing on the list.

Its a lot of nice joints and I ain't mad at Supreme Clientele being top 10 but that list is way outta whack.

That list is terrible. The fact that the clipse (2 albums), g unit, GOD Son and NERD made it to this fu*king list while leaving STILLMATIC out proves they don't know what the fu*k they're talking about.

I mean there are so many albums in there that shouldn't been there at all... INcluding Wayne on the top 10 and Justin Timberlake even being in there.

Bullsh*t list... i'll wait till rolling stone does their list.
n*gga chill out all them deserved to be on the list.

The just fu*ked up the order of most of the albums.

not a horrible list... the fact that they included The Libertines, The White Stripes and Lily Allen on their list shows that the writers do have some good taste in music outside of Hip Hop.

Stillmatic, IMO is a better album than Blueprint. It does everything The Blueprint does better, and more creatively. The storytelling on the album is a lot better, from Rewind, to Your Da Man, to 2nd Childhood..it's dope as fu*k. That album was great in every sense of the word.

However, I do agree Blueprint had more impact on the culture, so I don't disagree with people ranking it high. But IMO it isn't as good of a piece of work as Stillmatic is. I actually like The Black Album better..but the production on The Blueprint can't be denied.

Both are dope though.
