How is Aaron Rodgers not guaranteed?

n*ggas really think he's gonna fall off anytime soon? Dude is the best QB in the league right now. He can only go up from here.

So if Eli wins 2 championships before the end of his career, he still won't make it?

And Michael Vick is already the all-time leading rusher for a QB.

TD-INT
101–65

Passing yards
15,945

QB Rating
80.5

Rushing yards
4,948

Rushing touchdowns
32

Add 2-4 years worth of stats to those numbers and he's still not hall of fame worthy?

So how do guys like Warren Moon and Fran Tarkenton make it to the HoF then? You saying Brees isn't better than those two? Stats don't lie. Brees has a better TD/INT ratio and is more accurate. He also has a SB win under his belt.

true i suppose but moon was solid even when he had a sh*tty team...... plus he was so good for so many years thats why hes gotten the respect...... i said i think brees needs to built his resume for a couple more years before hes induction worthy

i guess i'd have to see a list of qbs that have made the hof to compare........ i just think that the current NFL is so much more of a passing league than it was 20 or even 5-10 yrs ago.. theree are a lot more qbs of his caliber these days so i could see them raising the bar, even if unintentionallly, for who makes it.

So what about Aaron Rodgers if Brees has to do it for another few years then Rodgers have to do it for another 6 years until we can say he can get in............... Brees will be in on his first try.

Drew Brees career stats: comp%:65.4 Yards:38,592 TD:258
Steve Young career stats: comp%:64.3 Yards:33,124 TD:232

Brees is on his 11th season
Steve Young played 15 seasons

big ben isn't a guaranteed HOF...
he was terrible in that 1st superbowl win.
steelers are known as a defensive/run 1st team, ben won't have very impressive #'s @ the end of his career, so unless the steelers somehow win another 1, he ain't getting in, in my opinion

If he retired today naw. I'd give him 2 years unless he gets MVP and wins another SB this year or the next.

Why is Peyton a lock then? Or Brady or Ben. Can use that same argument for any qb in the league. Your not gonna win this discussion if that is your argument. I guess no Qb is ever gonna make the hall of fame again since its a passing league now
because the passing TD all-time record goes

1. Brady - 50
2. Peyton - 49

because Peyton hasn't missed the playoffs since 2002
because Peyton hasn't passed for less than 25 TDs...ever
because Brady has 3 rings
because Brady was a part of the greatest offense to ever take the field
because Brady was part of a dynasty

these are what makes pedigree guarantees...guarantee, to me, means 1st ballot...Brees is FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR from a first ballot right now. that's what separates you from great to HOF in this new passing league.

because it's a COMPLETELY different game...people like Brady and Peyton, and if Rodgers continues on his reign, A-Rod are creating a whole new league for HOF passers.

how many concussions has he had? you never know what can happen to people...Sterling Sharpe could've been the best receiver of all time

I realize that. But this is based on a.ssumption that Rodgers will be healthy throughout the rest of his career.

If he builds upon his resume now and continues to be consistent the next 5-6 years, he can definitely get in the Hall of Fame. People forget he's only 27 and has only reached his prime this season. He may not even have reached his prime for all we know
