you cant throw 3,4, and 5 punch combos at a moving target. thats why jmm beat pac. and thats why money may would make pac look an amateur. its easy to throw combos on f!ghters who walk straight in.
While I do agree that it is nearly impossible to land 4 or 5 punches in a row on a counter puncher like JMM, but I don't think it was because of his movements. JMM wasn't really moving around that much. He was planted and basically just backing up the whole f!ght. It was more the timing of JMM's counters than it was his foot work. When Pac did land clean shots (which weren't often) he didn't follow up with his combos like he did in their past 2 bouts and has with his past opponents. He also didn't push the action when he got Marquez to the ropes, instead he settled on landing a single punch then backed off himself.
One thing that raises suspicion was he was able to walk through punches from harder hitters like Margo and Cotto, but he couldn't against JMM. Then after the f!ght we hear about Ariza complaining that Manny didn't train "his" way the last three f!ghts, and that's the reason why Pac's outcomes have been sub par, but before the bout all we were hearing was that this was the best camp he had in a long time.
Either way he looked slower in this last f!ght and his punches didn't have that snap to it. Even his people back in the Philippines are starting to have doubts about their "Champ". Usually after every win when he returns home there is a huge parade and they basically shut the city down. This time none of that, even they know that JMM was robbed.
