I give you props on the collection but no disrespect I got music organized by genre (even sub-categories of different cliques) alphabetically ordered on a external hard drive...all 500 gigs of my collection was pretty much FREE. We both win, I can just get to an album in a few clicks...whereas you gotta do a lil searching. I'm sure your sh*t is organized as well but aint sh*t like 1 of your n*ggas or bi*ches over like hey you got this and all they gotta do is click click click and bam or even just being able to take my whole collection with me anywhere I go.

For instance the Cash Money Folder is as such with all the old Cash Money with Manny and Juvie and them, then Wayne has his own folder with his albums then a seperate folder for his Mixtapes...also gotta folder under Wayne for Young Money in which Drake sh*t is catalogued.
You have 500 gigs of lossy compressed sh*t.

Salute...a couple of those CD's I could do without but the fact that you have actually supported your favorite artists is more than I can say about some people who claim they are die hard fans...

Ah the days of having a phat CD/Cassette collection.

I still go out and buy the occasional CD just to add to it.

But tbh @ the moment the 5 hard drives I have are probably catching up to it.

But you gotta respect having the actual copy, with the linear notes and the design of the CD etc etc.

Heck, if I see some classic vinyl singles or albums, I'm tempted to cop and I dont even have a turntable like that. Collector's mentality I guess.

That's a nice collection, good looks on that. But I'm going ahead and say my collection is better. I own about 900 records, 465 being CDs. Rare sh*t like Akinyele's v*gina Diner, MF Grimm Scars & Memories, Main Source - Breaking Atoms, Clutchy Hopkins Meets MF Doom, Blu Below The Heavens, Ras Kas Soul On Ice, Asheru & Blue Black Soon Come, Masta Ace A Long Hot Summer, Cunninlynguists A Piece Of Strange and more. My Vinyl game is better though >_>

I remember getting new CDs, going to the toilet, take a royal sh*t and read the booklets. Shame too many Rap albums have real lame booklets, no liner notes or anything. fu*k that. Same with video game manuals, they used to be real dope and informative. Now those gready fu*kheads send you a 3 leaf piece of sh*t manual with a big a.ss x box controller printed on one page like I don't know how this motherfu*ker looks smh.

total credit for still respecting the art --- i still have my collection of about 400 cd's and used to pay AUS$40 for imports of every new album back in the late 90s when i was just a teenager making $150 a week while i was still at school. its part of my childhood and i still buy around 10 albums a year when they are really great albums, they sound much better in my car than anything on mp3.

half these dudes will never experience what playing an album on heavy rotation even really means, music is too disposable these days with the next new album just a download away....

So we're suppose to be impressed by a bunch of $1 bin CDs? You could have saved that money and bought yourself a bed frame and some bed sheets and a cordless house phone and a vacuum to clean that carpet. Priorities all fu*ked up lol

True. But then again, you have like 6 albums you are interested in dropping in a month and I don't want to drop 80+$ just for CDs
