Whats the saying, everything ends badly otherwise it wouldn't end? Feel a little bad for Paterno. More hate has been thrust on him than the actual rapist.

nah you've got to be sh*tting me. you really expect someone to dial 911 each time they hear something without first alerting their superiors or getting verification?
He alerted his superiors and they did nothing.....

The Athletic Director, Vice President, and School President all got either fired or left after the allegations came out. They all knew they were wrong and should have done more rather then sweep it under the wrong. Is JoePa above everyone else in the school for some reason??

If everyone else is gone because they knew about it and did nothing then why would Paterno be spared, especially when he was closer to the a.ssistant coach than all the other people involved.

And they didn't even let the man speak

yo but real talk.. if paterno was adamant about dude getting punished or fired or arrested or whatever, he would have.. paterno is a legacy, if he wouldnt stand for this pedo being on his sideline, it wouldnt of happened. same goes for pretty much everyone who knew and had the power to do something about it.

this is an internal problem, bigger than the football program. the football program will be the least of this universities worries. its about to get ugly.

what is a 76 year old man supposed to do in the instance he hears something suspicious like that? go commando and attempt to solve the crime? he reported it to his superiors. it was then his superiors responsibility to handle it. Joe fulfill his obligations, its just that idiots like you and others like to sensationalize.

Did i say he should have solved the crime? According to Pennsylvania law it was his LEGAL OBLIGATION to report the offfenses to the authorities properly, and the only reason he gets a pass is that Curley was supposedly some kind of law enforcmemet officer. I'm pretty sure that nowhere in my post did I say that Joepa should have gone rogue and tried to go solve it himself. He owed it to the ltitle kids that got r*ped before, during, and after him finding out about the offenses, to folow up with law enforcement. We're talking basic human decency 101.. You delusional a.ss fu*k. you're even more out of touch with reality than Paterno was when he decided to try and dictate the terms of his own exit after being largely responsible for the most reprehensible scandal in college sports history.

Also another point you are missing is that there is a VERY clear distinction between an EYE WITNESS ACCOUNT and a RUMOR, but I wouldn't expect you to know that since judging by your other posts you never passed the third grade.

I am so tired of hearing "he didn't do the moral thing." A lot of the motherfu*kers in the media casting blame on Paterno would have done the same thing he did, pass the burden on to someone else.

Shame that ppl are making this about football, instead of making it about the kids. Paterno failed, period. What recruit's family is gonna trust him now? If he came in your house to recruit your kid, would you roll wit him? I know I wouldn't. If someone is that passive about child molestation I wouldn't want anyone in my family to be around him. So he's got to go, whether you think he's guilty or not is irrelevant, his rep is ruined. He won't be able to recruit, if you can't recruit then you're a burden, if you're a burden, you have to step down.

Seriously there is a huge difference between I heard something happened and I saw something happened. One is a rumor and the other is actually witnessing something happen. Y'all need to read the grand jury report

This was JoePa's program, JoePa's team, JoePa's program, and JoePa's coach for years and years. It's his responsibility, whether you pedo-homers like it or not...
