All movie posters are the same

I had to translate this from Dutch cause I couldn't find the original source. Hopefully the sentences are understandable enough. (I'm not an interpreter or anything).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Its seems that the movie industry, and especially Hollywood, are making movies by the truckload. Creativity and Distinction are two words which more and more are replaced with Speed and Profit. Designers of movie posters seem to have adjusted to this idea. There are a couple of formulas that seem to guarentee succes. Here they are...

Small people on the beach, big heads in the sky. Kleenex drama in which one of the lead characters dies, but all ends well.

A back and some guns. A lot of action, shooting and explosions.

[pic - click to view]

Backs against each other. Romantic comedies. The main characters hate each other in the beginning of the film, but later fall in love. The movie is usually a disappointment.

The bed. Suggest the movie contains s3x, but it actually only contains bullsh*t.

[pic - click to view]

The giant WTF eye. Every which way... Horror.

Nature is beautiful! And blue! For a nature film, you use blue. Get it? Good.

Black and orange. Black = action. Orange = explosion.

Run! The main character is either running away from the bad guys, or is trying to catch them. Almost the same as 'Black and orange' movies, except the explosions are replaced with suspense.

Legs. Suggest the movie contains s3x, and it does.

blue and orange are the most common colours in movie posters and a lot of posters use the same fonts.

Thread failed.

Putting action next to the 'Unforgiven' poster, failure.

To top it off putting bullsh*t next to the 'Scenes From a Marriage' poster, arguably the greatest relationship movie by one of the greatest directors we have seen, Bergman is rolling in his grave.

I can't believe they label Scenes From a Marriage bullsh*t.

I am laughing at the comparison between Hollywood Rom-Coms and Ingmar Bergman.

The quote reads "ONLY contains bullsh*t"

Try watching the film, or you can stick to this ignorant mindset.
There is no comparison towards rom-coms and Bergman movies itself. Its a post about the unoriginality of Hollywood posters.

Just further make my point stronger about Hollywood's unoriginality (they jack covers).

You know this thread is about the similarities of movie posters right?

I bring up how they label a classic bullsh*t (pasted next to a bunch of legit bullsh*t) you mention Hollywood, I bring up how it is Swedish damn near the opposite of Hollywood, you bring up that it is based on covers from all countries, nice dodging there.

Can't just admit you tried to defend a fool who copies and pastes covers of films he hasn't seen? I did laugh at the post, but don't pretend that my points were illogical by constantly dodging around.
yeah, about the labeling bullsh*t.

I don't see why i would be dodging since i was focused on the covers itself while you were focus on the writer talking out of his a.ss while disrespecting a classic film.

I was focused on you calling me out, shouldn't have done that, simple point was made and you stretched it out.

Anyways what is new on BluRay?
I was in the mood for some classic BX.

Nothing really if you're asking about recent releases. Rise of the Planet of the Apes, tho. Gorgeous.

Still waiting on that Frankenhooker and Le Samourai.
