I don't think they have 2 different audiences. They both appeal to casual rap fans that gravitate toward catchy hooks and tight beats. Jeezy should have slight edge, since he has far more street appeal, but that's not the issue. The issues is rather or not he still has a place in the hearts of casual fans and I'm not sure he does.
Jeezy is a artist first, but he's also a competitor and he's not gonna happy if he's outsold by Drake, Nicki, Wiz, Wale, Cole and who knows who else.
But who knows. Maybe he'll pull off a upset....
them n*ggaz dont have the same fan base nor make the same music..wale main focus is girl songs, club songs and pop songs..if wale wasnt on mmg,he probably wouldnt even do a song with ross,if he did its cause ross is on his job right now..wale's 1st choice of features is kid cudi,b.o.b.,kanye west, big sean and rnb artists as u could see on ambition..thats the type of music he vibes and prefers 2 make..jeezy wouldnt be able 2 out sell drake and nicki even with his debut cuz drake and nicki are pop artists so ur mistaken.what's interesting is that wale about 2 sell what ross has sold on every 1st week of all his albums..im curious to see if ross 1st week will improve or stay da same since wale's mediocre album is about 2 sell what he has sold in the 1st week without a major single/video.
