They're both homer prone but I'll take the lefty in Yankee stadium. Then again danks is fa after next year and it's repped by boras. My guess is they would deal him due to reinsdorf's fued with boras.

The Diamondbacks and Aaron Hill have agreed to a two-year contract worth a little more than $10 million, according to Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic.
Jon Heyman of SI.com later reported that the deal will be worth $11 million over two years. Sounds like a reasonable deal for both sides. The Diamondbacks declined Hill's $8 million options for 2012 and 2013 after the season. The 29-year-old second baseman enjoyed success after being acquired from the Blue Jays in August, batting .315/.386/.492 with two homers, 16 RBI and an .878 OPS over 142 plate appearances. Hill was an All-Star in 2009, when he posted an .829 OPS in 734 plate appearances. He's fallen back to earth with OPS' of .665 and .655 the last two years, but Arizona hopes his production spike at the end of 2011 is a harbinger for things to come.
Brewers general manager Doug Melvin said he might meet with Scott Boras at the GM meetings this week in Milwaukee to discuss Prince Fielder.
Melvin doesn't sound optimistic that he has much of a chance to retain Fielder, however. Milwaukee currently has about half of its 2012 roster locked in for over $70 million. a.ssuming the Crew keeps its payroll beneath $100 million, they won't have the leeway to sign any big-ticket item, including Fielder. "It's simple math," said Melvin, who endorsed Mat Gamel as a potential heir at first base. Gamel hit .310 with 28 home runs and 96 RBI in 128 games at Triple-A Nashville this past season.
Mat Gamel ain't no Prince Fielder

The Blue Jays may look to trade for their next closer, according to the Toronto Sun.
Toronto isn't interested in paying the price free agent closer's have been requesting thus far, according to the story. If they aren't able to get a stopper at a reasonable price, the Blue Jays may just turn to the trade market. The Jays have been linked to Ryan Madson, Heath Bell and Joe Nathan, amongst others. What does Toronto have to trade? "Prospects," said Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos

How did I lose? It was speculation on my part that he would sign here if he ever reached FA dumb fu*k

Ethier, Hamilton, that Cuban outfielder, Bourn, Delmon Young, Quentin, and Ichiro () and Victorino will all be available after the season so YOU and YOUR GARBAGE SPORTS FRANCHISES FOREVER LOSE.

speculation isn't saying ALL SEASON long "can't wait to get kemp next season "

"hope he doesn't win mvp, that would drive the price up for us to sign him"

"only one more year of swisher before we sign kemp"

but yeah.. that's just speculation

Worry about your own team instead of trolling the Yankees white trash.

Marlins shortstop Hanley Ramirez is not at all pleased about the prospect of changing positions if the team signs Jose Reyes, a source tells Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald (via Twitter). Spencer adds that the two players aren't the friends that many portray.

^^ List doesnt look to bad. Theres alot of duds on there and guys who are going to get large contracts who wont perform.

But trading prospects for a closer is a recipe for disaster. But if they can have Soria for the right price

fu*king guy was a garbage 3rd base coach, i have a hard time he can be good as our manager, although it sounds like the players really like him

According to SI.com's Jon Heyman, the Giants will attempt to lock up Matt Cain this offseason.

The San Francisco front office is also efforting a long-term extension with Tim Lincecum. Both pitchers are set to make significant salaries in 2012, so they may prefer to continue going year-to-year. But the comfort provided by a multi-year deal could be attractive. Cain, 26, posted a sparkling 2.88 ERA and 1.08 WHIP in 33 starts this season. He can become a free agent in 2013.
