When your country makes $40-60 billion a year in oil and your population is less than 7 million, it's easy to give away money. He and his family still diverted so much wealth for themselves.

All that cash flow for the government, and they have an unemployment rate of 30% and third of the country is below the poverty line. Literacy rate is higher than before he came into power... No sh*t, he came into power more than 40 years ago.

He executed political rivals and basically abolished their media freedom. He literally got rid of their constitution when he took power.

So it was cheaper to buy a car and people didn't have a light bill. People in that country got tired of him trying to throw some money around in exchange for many basic freedoms

hmm why is CNN running a story 100% diffrent to this thread here... they showed the education system and living there to be sh*t while gadafi racked up 60 billion in a.ssets and theres a bunch of people co signing it

CNN aint running real news anymore, purely slanted. Just like how The usa government been was working with Gadaffi for 40 YEARS...all the years he was in power but now since he pulled money/oil back from them they wanna get rid of him and support rebels....sh*t is fu*ked up

Its better than giving away our freedom for free which is happening to us. I'll take free electricity and a free car to have the TSA molest me.
