ESPN First Take: Brady Or Rodgers (video)

Mangini,Jon Ritchie and Skip Bayless were asked who would they chose to play QB for their team as of today BRADY or RODGERS?

Mangini picked Brady
Jon Ritchie picked Rodgers (His arguments were as lame as they come)
Skip picked Brady

Glad to see analyst respecting Brady. Rodgers is just the flavor of the month. He may or may not last. He may fall of like alot of other qbs. We all know Brady is HOF today or tomorrow, or whenever he wants to retire.

an mobility, every attribute Brady has, Rodgers does too, the only thing Brady has on Rodgers is being around longer, which doesn't exactly matter when you aren't winning in january, and we're gonna act like mangini wouldn't be a Brady backer and that skip has always hated on Rodgers

Why do you hate Rodgers so much?

Your hate for him is more annoying than the Packer fans that slob him.

i guess time will tell. we'll see where he ends up in the history books when it's all said and done. every year it seems a new stud is rotated into the conversation, so it's on rodgers to keep playing at a high level. whether it's brees, vick, mcnabb, manning, whoever, there's only one constant when it comes to comparisons. it's brady vs >>insert name here<< year in and out. rodgers by all means is a great talent but i swear there must be some jealousy behind some of you, every time someone makes a comment, good or bad n*ggas is quick to start getting buck like we play each other two times a year or something

I'd take Rodgers over Brady. Brady can't do everything Rodgers can and Rodgers can do everything Brady can.

excellent point. Brady's name has been through the times. only other qb is Peyton. Brees, Rivers, Vick, etc...tehy have all entered the conversation and fell out. Now its Rodgers turn...which makes....

it's that this guy here keeps on trying to make threads defending why Brady is the best, check his last four in this section, three about Rodgers and a new one just now about Peyton, we know Brady is great, but he's getting older, meanwhile he's puttin up great numbers, someone else is putting up better ones, and winning more, so it's getting close to time to pass the preverbial torch

Rodgers the flavor of the month
he's only been the flavor of the month for three years now countless analysts have touted Rodgers just deal with it, you don't have to defend Brady this much if you KNOW he's better

Again the question that was asked, as of today who would you pick?

Anyone with any type of common sense can see that Rodgers is the best QB in the league right now. I know the T/S is trying to argue just for sake of it, but come on son....

Ritchie had the best argument, you can tell skip doesn't watch packer games and manhunt even said he was bias.

Flavor of the month would be accurate if Aaron wasn't doing what he's been doing for 3 and a half years now. Dude's very consistent. You say Vick is usually in that Brady vs >> PLAYER << convo but Vick has had one sensational season and a bunch of average/below average ones. Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers is breking records as a first time starter and already on pace to break many records even with 3 years of playing time taken from him.

As for the argument, this is clearly a wash. It will come down to personal preference and team need. If your oline sucks, Rodgers. If it doesn't, it could be Rodgers or Brady.

People slay me when they act like Rodgers is just now coming into his own. Meanwhile, Packers fans have been enjoying great quarterback play for four seasons now. All you non game watching n*ggas can sit down.
