I don't think there's going to be a season....how in the hell the players have more of a percentage then the owners...the owners who did that bullsh*t should get their a.ss kicked
well back in the day it was their favor. With the rise of stars and people watching for them the owners loss the battle?

With economy the way it is....owners probably crying now. Players probably thinking, eventually league is going to be worth more money. So the owners are trying to pull a fast one.

Stern says owners' proposal would've raised average player salary from $5-$7m/year.

Greedy a.ss fu*king players. Guys like LeBron and Wade are why we're here.
no guys like carlos boozer and joakhim noah are the reason we are here

lebron and wade are underpaid with what they bring to the league noah and boozer are over paid

Because the players are the ones that generate that money... BRI is Basketball Related Income... That excludes the TV deals that the owners get paid from... The players are the ones that generate that money, so the players should get more of it and the owners keep ALL of the money from the TV deals they get...

The easiest fix to this mess is to make all contracts non-guaranteed so if the players do something stupid and get hurt, the owners should not be forced to pay them... or guarantee them 25% of their contracts and they have to earn the rest on the court...

These owners are way better off than they are letting on... They have other ventures that bring in more money than the NBA... This only hurts the fans and the stadium workers in the long run... They need to end this now...

Your high

D12 is clearly the most dominant player in the NBA.

Only player n*ggas would pick ahead of Lebron to build a team around.

the players that negotiated in 1999 got that 57% deal, why would they settle for some 50% sh*t for the current players + future players?
True, the owners still making a sh*tload of money but they not making enough to justify the huge salaries the players are making nowadays. Everybody got hit hard during the "recession" including the owners....the players didn't tho, they're salaries scale was negotiated a decade ago which is why we are in a lockout now.

The owners want the players to adjust to the times...doesn't make since for them to not take a hit like everyone else in the country did. I wanna see basketball just like the next man but I know this isn't an NFL situation where the owners were in a better situation because Football is so much more profitable. Bottom line, the players bullsh*tting...take a pay cut like everyone else did.

You people really think NBA owners are losing money David Stern made anywhere from 17-23 million dollars last year, the league was more popular than its ever been, and the owners are gaining back over 150 million dollars from the previous agreement. If you brought a team in a bad market thats called a bad investment. No business owner is promised a return on his investment its up to you to make it work.

If David Stern wants to make it more economically friendly the he should reduce his salary, reduce the fines, and remind these owners that this is a business and in order to be an NBA owner you should realize that this is another investment. Funny how owners like Cuban, Arison, and Buss are still making money despite the "recession".

they got that money off of jordan and the bulls.......the league was at an all time high...the economy isnt the same,,,and owners over pay for eddy curry setting their team back.....i think thy should settle over 50...they need to stop thinking the nba and nfl are on even ground they are not.....football will last america into jan....then ncaa will be in full swing...then you alienate ppl who go to work everyday at the arenas and fans
