This has always been true. Shaq should've been the greatest center at least, if not the greatest player. You put Karl Malone's work ethic in Shaq and he would've been.
WTF WTH shame on u for even type this trash

Shag is already a top 10 player in peoples minds and still the most dominant force on a NBA court

oh god not this shaq and kobe bs u guys try to use to someone how down play kobe like he wasnt just as important . look at them both now shaq is done and kobe is on his way to ring 6 that all.
... true but b4 shaq the Lakers w/ Kobe were barely a playoff team. They brought in Shaq to get them over the 'hump'. Yes Kobe was the most important player after Shaq. He's done because he's old; let's see were Kobe is at Shaq's currnt age. Look, I'm not a fan of either, but Kobe is looking at six rings cause Mitch K. ( the owner) has made good moves to put the right pieces around Kobe, how soon we forget the after Shaq struggles of the Lakers (Kobe was ready to leave, whining and all... ). Shaq has never had that, except in Orlando. He has always. Came on a team as the 'final' piece. Then unfortunately he got too old and injured. Kobe has been fortunate to have not experienced any 'serious' injuries. Just my non stan , unbiased opinion.

Greatest duo to ever step on a fu*king basketball court.

Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'neal > Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen.

Kobe BECAME the more talented player....at the time Shaquille was the best player in the league...
1 of the realest statements in the thread.

n*ggas trying to turn into a Shaq vs Kobe thing and throwing out Finals MVP's and all that.

Totally missing the point. Shaq was dominant cuz of his size, strength and yes agility for that size BUT NOT CUZ HE WAS THE MOST TALENTED OR WORKED HARDER THAN ANYBODY ELSE. When he was with Orlando he had every advantage on the Dream yet the Dream outclassed his a.ss and I was a diehard OMagic/Penny fan back then.

Kobe was right, if Shaq had of taken his workouts/practices/free throws more seriously he could have been the All-Time leading scorer...would have 8 or 9 rings

We applaud Shaq for his career and rightfully so, but damn what could have been if he wasn't such a goofball lazy fuk.

That Interviewer seemed like his a.ss was reaching for twitter followers . i dont think Kobe blatantly trashing Shaq like this n*gga makes it out. It dont even make sense the sh*t is way too random. Sidenote though...These 2 n*ggas coulda won atleast 7 chips if they chilled with the bi*ching on both parts.

Shaq's not even the greatest center ever though. Is Shaq an all time great yes, my point is he did that with out working out or practicing. Shaq should've at the very least be the greatest center ever.

Shaq was more than just a big dude. He was actually pretty fundamentally sound. Dude was good at rebounding the ball and always put himself in good position to get the ball. One of the better passing big men in the history of the game (I'd put him a couple notches under Vlade and Sabonis). He could create his shot in the post (he didn't have to rely on garbage buckets). There's even been a few occasions where he's brought the ball up the court himself. How many big guys do you see with that type of coordination (especially nowadays)? The only knock on his game was his free throw shooting.

honestly the whole things sounds like kobe jealous. what i mean is we all seen this in whatever we did, sports, school work, whatever. you work hard as fu*k to get where youre at while someone else can just coast cause they are a natural, so it makes you a little upset. like we see this kobe you dont have to point it out all the time. sure maybe he could have been better but thats him. so it just sounds like kobe upset cause he had to work harder and sh*t but kobe, thats what made you you so you cant hate.
