Floyd seemed to be the only 1 with his head in the game

as where Ortiz and the Ref seemed as if they were in the stands watching a f!ght instead of beign apart of 1

Floyd couldn't knock down Shane at all and almost got knocked the fu*k out if stand didnt gas out. Pacquaio knocked Shane down and had Shane f!ghting scared from his back foot while against Floyd Shane was coming forward all f!ght. And the funny thing is that pacquaio whope shane a.ss the same day as his car accident which obviously fu*ked his leg up. Really triangle theory doesn't work in boxing.
Pac goes for the knockout. He's a brawler who learned to box.

Floyd is a boxer through in through and boxes to win. If the KO is there he'll take it, if he can win without, he'll take it.

Pac took the win over Shane, but clearly he was chasin the KO the whole f!ght.
Floyd picked Shane apart that whole f!ght. That was his strategy and he executed it.

My prediction is if Pac chases a KO all night with Floyd he's not getting it and will be picked apart in the process. Sorry, but Floyd's not a mexican bloddy brawler that's gonna trade with you till someone drops.

There's a if in that sentence. If there's no need for medical attention(no visible damage), you jump down to #6.

Caution both boxers for headbutting and or take appropriate action. Cortez did that.
correct, if theres no damage shown, and floyd doesnt want a time out or anything to recover, if he doesnt want to be checked, why would they take time.

So do you see a W for Floyd via decision, or picked apart and doing damage? I can see it going 12 and Floyd winning on technique, but I can also see Floyd getting rocked. Based on the way Manny's been boxing (against sh*tty opponents, tho), it's hard for me to predict him being phased by any thing Floyd throws/counterpnches with

Noppe, check it again. Its right above your post where I quoted it. From .37 all the way down to that paragraph near the end where your if is, Cortez didnt do any of those things. At what point were they separated into corners or away from each other? At what point was there control once there was a headbutt? The dude Ortiz got over to Mayweather multiple times to hug him and apologize and sh*t!

If Cortez had done his job he would have had the f!ghters completely separated into their corners or neutral corners, gone over to deduct the point, made sure ringside was ready, brought both f!ghters back to the center of the ring with him in between, warned them, asked them to touch gloves and then finished the round.

Nothing resembling that took place and if you are saying what took place was acceptable for the person officiating a championship f!ght then you clearly aren't a boxing fan and just heavily biased towards Mayweather

bi*ch move, if you think otherwise, you have personal bias

boxing isn't like a street f!ght, no one is paying money to watch a street f!ght
its a test of skill, and mayweather took a shot when he knew the situation wasn't clear
ortiz had no intention of f!ghting at that time, and the ref was right there
since when does the f!ght start when the ref doesn't even move away?

pretty clear that mayweather wasn't sure he could beat ortiz straight up...
That's why Ortiz threw three head butts. Cause boxing isnt a street f!ght. Okay. Your right.

A n*gga hit you. And instead of protecting yourself, you want to get an explanation from the ref as to why you just got hit. Yeah man. Your right. You got it.

Ortiz was pretty clear he could beat Floyd straight up, that's why he threw 3 headbutts. Yeah he had the f!ght sowed up from there.

Picked apart leading to a decision.

Pacman does not want that f!ght to go all 12 of course.
His best bet is to work to end that sh*t by the 7th. Floyd goes for points and punch percentage. They even showed his stats comparing him to those other f!ghters tonight. To avoid being a statistic Floyd got to be put away early. That sh*t is easier said than done. But if I was in Pac camp that's what I would suggest.

protect yourself at all times is part of the pre-f!ght instructions! Floyd took a opening that no savey f!ghter would have given. What he did is essentially the boxing equivalent of the fake grounding play in football. If you fall for it, blame yourself becasue your defense was unprepared.

Irony at it's finest here folks. He accuses someone of personal bias, but doesn't mention the illegal headbutt that cut Floyd under the lip at all...what a dumb@ss.

dont mention Floyd getting cut as a result of the headbutt. I've been told in this thread that Floyd wasnt hurt or bothered at all by it and didnt need the ref to follow protocol for headbutts and point deductions following a headbutt.

You sir are a liar and stop with the erroneous information.

What f!ght were you watching? All the stuff at the end aside, Mayweather was winning that f!ght handily and would have continued to do so.
Mayweather was winning, and would have won. but not by a large margin, probly would have been decision and probly would have been a boring one. Ortiz is not a good match, there are MANY better f!ghters, You realize Mayweather just wanted to test a southpaw to prepare for pacquaio?....Point is, why would you take a cheap shot on someone you know you can outbox honorably?

Pacquaio WAS a brawler, he's now a boxer, and a damn good one...Yes he goes for knockout because he almost always has the opportunity, but he's demonstrated many times the ability to win by decision.

Mayweather CANT knock out many boxers, hence why he hangs on and wins by points. If he goes for knockout he'll most likely BE knocked out.

Marquez is a counter puncher...Mosley is a boxer....so your saying pacquaio has ONLY fought brawlers?

were we seeing the same the f!ght?

start the video at 1:10

1:15, Cortez separates them
1:17, he calls time
1:20, he sees Ortiz going back over to mayweather and separates them again
1:24, Cortez holds Ortiz's hand and acknowledges every side of the ring with the headbutt hand signal
1:34, Cortez tells Ortiz "Don't be doing that"
1:37, both f!ghters are actually backed in the corner and CLEARLY separated with Cortez being in the center between both f!ghters, Cortez calls time in, says "let's go"
1:39, they touch gloves, Ortiz fu*ks up by trying to still apologize to mayweather and mayweather takes advantage because he knows time is in and they touched gloves.

Chalk the L up to Ortiz being too kind for the sport, not bad officiating, Cortez did his job
