Some good sh*t in here. I'm trying to try this at least once before the summer hit. I'ma need some good a.ss recipes though b/c I've done tried some that be straight nasty homie. One of my friends let me try some of hers that had spinach and some other green sh*t in it that was cool (i thought it was gon be nasty as fuk) so I might mess with that.

thats how i felt my first 2 days (the first time i did it)... i'm on day 2 of my second round after taking about 10 days off and i feel completely fine.

got myself a new scale.. reads weight, body fat in lbs, body fat %, and water weight... (and other stuff i dont care about)

Evening of day 2:
Weight: 233.5
Fat Lbs: 69.0 (this will be what I'm most concerned about)
Fat %: 29.6%
Water: 51.3% (also keeping an eye on this)

Don't let that stop you from giving it a try if you feel like you could potentially benefit from it.

A fast is primarily about detoxifying your body. The fat loss is just a convenient addition to the process.

If you think it could somehow help, man just do it.

You're not gonna lose weight on fruit juice. Eating fruit is better for you that drinking its juice because the sugar content is so high. Same for carrots, actually.

I'm starting another juice fast today. I'm looking at juicing watermelon, kale, cucumber, celery and lime... Right now I'm drinking straight green vegetable juice due to time constraints.

Morning of Day 3:
230.5 lbs (-3 lbs from new scale, which is what I'll be basing all these numbers off)
Fat lbs: 67.2 (-1.8 lbs)
Body Fat: 29.2% (-0.4%)
Water: 51.6% (+0.3%)

The scale instructions said that the Fat and Water % would vary depending on how much food/water is in my stomach, as well as how humid the climate is or how sweaty I am. So the numbers may fluctuate.

I do, but I stick to strength training exercises on my bowflex.

No running, no jogging, I might do some walking at the marina if my brother or wife is trying to go.

Other than that, I'm going through life normally w/ work and social events. Only difference is I'm drinking probably twice the water I was and I'm not eating solid food.

It becomes a way of life after a while.

When it gets here, I'm going to try & start off with something light like a 10 day fast. I already have it in my mind which fruits I want to base it around to start off with. I'm big on apples, lemons, spinach etc so if I can find a lot of recipes that revolve around those, I should be straight. Anything that's not all thick and sh*t.

This girl on twitter makes some stuff she calls "hulk juce" with the following recipe:

I bought the mason jars off Amazon.

Just look up "Ball 32oz Mason Jar" in the search.

They're like 20something bucks.


Did you buy the first appliance in your post or the one in the 2nd picture?

The first one looks like a blender.

The one under is for sure a juicer.


Blending your juice is ok too but you're going to need to get a lil' bag to strain the juice out of.

This weekend I will have to break my fast. I'm still going to juice, but I have a wedding and a fathers day bbq to go to. I'll be eating 1-2 light meals per day. Probably a salad plus a burger/hotdog.

I will still post my progress, my goal is to just maintain my current numbers
