Notorious BIG "Life After death" was the last cassette tape I remember buying, moms took it back because of that R.Kelly song "fu*king You Tonight" LOL but my sis was old enough to buy it, so we put our money together to buy it again :D

Walkmans were the sh*t

But we could only afford the ones that only one spinning reel....if you wanted to rewind the tape you had to flip it over, fast forward it, then flip it back over.......don't act like y'all don't remember them sh*ts

Yes it is ignorant, I don't give 2 sh*ts about 8 tracks. Never saw one and I never will so i ignore 99% of anything 8 track related, which is why i spelled it wrong. Where is my award?

I bought that album on cassette when it dropped.....I still got it. Case, pamphlet and all. It's pretty raggedy though. Most of the letters are wiped off, it popped twice and I had to pry it open to Scotch tape it back together and super glue the case back together. Then I stepped on it one day caved part of the case in...it left a big hole in the case.

That tape went through hell, but it's still playable
:wow: Jesus Christ... lol...

Never bought cassettes, not with stuff already on it already lol. I would just wait until the local radio station had their evening mixes or late night segments on the weekends where they would play new sh*t and just record all the songs I liked on my trusty blank Memorex tapes lol...

Leave the boombox with the record and play buttons down with the pause button down, then press the pause button down again when I wanted to record to catch the song faster since it was the lightest button...rinse and repeat until the whole side was full...

And my walkman on deck on my way to the school bus...

aaaah memories...
