By Far the Scariest Movie I Have Ever Seen.

Im a horror junkie. But rarely do i ever see a movie that actually gives me the chills. Ive seen almost every fu*ked up/horror movie out there and few have gotten to me (pontypool, session 9) but this one blew anything i have seen out of the water.

i saw this it looked aight but kinda dumb at the same time with the ghost hunters type look so i never watched it.

Paranormal Activity was the last movie to freak me out. Movies that make you go for "jump" scare aren't really my thing.

This movie started off soooooooooooooooooo good. Seriously, the first hour or so was fu*king fantastic. The last 30 minutes, though, were extremely uneven. One minute there's something legitimately creepy happening, then there's something so ridiculous happening that you can't help but laugh, then there's something creepy happening again, and then something ridiculous happens again. There was way too much stuff going on at the end.

Still worth watching though, even with the uneven end. Actually one of the creepiest movies I've seen in a while.

This is EXACTLY what I try to tell people when they say sh*t is scary when it really isn't...it's like they can't tell the difference. Nowadays they (producers/directors) rely on the "jump factor" too much and when you see through that BS you realize it's only a home video...*cough*Paranormal Activity*cough*

BTW this movie is trash. I'm not hatin by any means, I just believe it's trash.

ahh this suffered from insidious syndrome. did a good job of making the characters annoying as hell (ie: fairly reasonable depictions of your average person), set up a fkin wicked situation, and then it all got away from them.

it was really well done until

overall i probably enjoyed insidious more - i think that both films faltered badly in the final third, but the ending of insidious was fkin grim -

Am I the only one that hated Session 9? I thought it was fu*king sh*t. Then again, I haven't seen it in a decade and I was 14 at the time so my opinion might be different now.

insidious had its moments indeed but the thing about the movie that ruined it for me n made it cheesy was that all too elaborate and detailed boogie man world beyong the door in the attic..... the monster and his little domain made me say "awwww really " it was really amateur and captured in a corny "Goosebumps"
[pic - click to view]

like manner...... otherwise it was a cool flick, especially the ending like someone mentioned...
