Atlanta Rapper "J-Lie" Claims Weezy Stole His Beat & Shows Some Proof

"Lil Wayne’s Young Money team leaked “She Will” on Friday (August 12th), which is a new single off Tha Carter IV featuring Drake. Now, Atlanta rapper J-Lie is coming forward to let it be known that the beat used for the song was his and that he originally recorded it five months ago. While a lot of people may think this is J-Lie’s attempt at a claim to fame, the young rapper actually has solid proof that he indeed had the song before Lil Wayne released his version to the public. The rapper says “Letting Go”, the original title of the song, was featured on his Local Tourist album that was released this past April. His song also has a music video, which he released on YouTube after behind the scenes footage of Lil Wayne recording his verse to the song hit the internet. The Lucky Rodgers directed video was posted on YouTube one day before Lil Wayne’s version hit the internet." - KeepItTrill.COM

yeah but these guys didnt produce this track neither !
and what might have happened was that t-minus might have produced the track for these n*ggas and or maybe grams but still passed it over to Wayne and it became something that he wanted the whole time..which was a hit and wayne/drizzy delivered it!!!...but this sh*t happens a whole lot in the industry where rappers will get handed a beat and then they pass on it and then someone else will pick it up and do something with it...and further more T-minus can do that because its not like these n*ggas had an album and this track was on it..it was just a track that they put out there...and it funny how they stated they recorded it 5 months ago but it was just released the day before wayne dropped his !!!!..

He didn't sound to mad just sounded like he was wondering how could they be on the same track that used for his video and album.

There's to much of that in the industry now. people stealing tracks and sh*t.

bru stealing what???? these are not them n*ggas sh*t...T-minus is the one responsible for all of this but then again he isnt because he produced the beat so therefore he can do what ever he wanna do with it as long as no one had the song on their album already...Wayne and drake dont know these n*ggas to say oh "thats dis and dat n*gga beat"...T-minus made the beat for them n*ggas and he gave it to wayne too...!!!....simple

these n*ggas dont even have an album with this track on it...now they had an album out and the track was on it now that would be shady...but t-minus can do send the beat over to anyone he want to because he made it...bottom-line !

producers lease beats too...which means they are available for re-use until some one buys all exclusive rights

People wanna lease some beats for their mixtapes, and then get mad when a big name hops on it. Tyga's beat for "Bad bi*ches" on his Black Thoughts 2 tape was leased, thus Ace Hood took it for his album and made Go N Get It. These no name rappers happened to hop on this beat for their free projects, but it's not THEIRS.
