SPOILER WARNING! Hit the jump for full details on the Bane scene from the extras that witnessed the carnage. Find out who he k!lls, and who he takes hostage. Some of the coverage provided is by our very own CBM member zachshivey.

Exclusive information from our own zachshivey an extra at the game.

The Gotham Rogues played the Rapid City Monuments. During the opening kick off, Bane sets off a bomb that blows up a large chunk of the football field and k!lls the players. The mercs storm the stadium along with bane & he has some sort of bomb. He makes a speech about "the device being our liberation" It all looked really good & it was all filmed with IMAX cameras.

someone already put up about the tumblers, that's false info. They aren't included in the shot at all, only made an appearance to show them off

Not an earthquake machine. Nothing was said about it. It's probably a bomb...remember, they blew up the field so what he was standing on was the remains of the field. The rest will be altered digitally & covered in smoke

Correction: bane says "take control of your city....behold the object of your liberation"

Update: the bane scene was him walking out of the tunnel after the field was blown up. He spoke into a mic he took off a dead referee. He literally sounds like an old man on a respirator. It was hard to make out what he said. Something along the lines of "your city is being liberated..." he had a big object about 5 feet tall, it was a sphere, probably a bomb. Think about the one in the batman movie with two-face at the circus

The explosions werent much so im not too mad about it. Its all gonna be digital effects. It's sooo hot. They are having a raffle now. I think the next scene is bane, they said he comes out and threatens the crowd. I saw a friend of mine who was a merc, he said Tom hardy is super cool to talk to and real down the earth. He said the costumes are awesome. I'll try to snap pictures of him in action.

The explosions just happened, couldn't get a picture bc our section had to run away from it. They just said that the "field will be totally destroyed" and the only part left is the one picture I sent you with the field elevated. They also jus said the 3 tumblers will be brought out again bc "bane stole them" I don't know how true that is, but they announced it so let's see how that rolls

They are filming the football scene now where the players are running & the field is blowing up. There are holes in that plateau the players disappear into.
SHH's Rayne another football extra

And to clarify: It was NOT Gordon who was captured; it was the "Mad Scientist" character played by Alon Aboutboul. Didn't get to see what happened because they never let us come back out to the field after they finished the Hines Ward/explosion scene. Some players did, unfortunately I didn't. Caught a brief glimpse of Bane (no sleeves...just the military vest) and Aboutbol's character was on his knees with what looked liked his hands behind his back.

No word on what the "Earthquake Machine" or bomb actually is, but it's basically a large black metal ball with silver machinery wrapped around it. It's big, as you can tell.
SHH's Yurka another extra has the scoop on Bane's voice

Bane's accent was great, weezy and raspy. I'm sure all others in attendance will agree. But they also might change it in post..

It initially did sound a bit hispanic but then in later takes he veered into more I guess I'd just call it an "older" person voice, very strained and raspy/weezy, no real accent.

It definitely caught me off guard but the more takes they did, the more awesome it sounded. He does little throat clearing/raspy noises which reminded me of Heath's lip-licking tick's. It should be awesome if it is in fact the "real" voice.

The Joker and Two-Face hit Batman closer to home in TDK. But dead football players? Prison break? The stakes sound even higher for TDKR and it seems Bane is set on just destroying Gotham. League Of Shadows connection? And how would he have the ability to make multiple Tumblers without someone having access to it or its blueprints through Wayne Ent.? Miranda Tate = Tahlia Al Ghul continuing Ra's Al Ghul's plans? Then maybe she resurrects him? So many questions...either way, TDKR = Epic

The rumor mill suggests that a major character from all three Christopher Nolan Batman movies will be k!lled off in this final installment. Obviously major (potential) SPOILERS ahead so do not even click on the article if you don't wanna know em..

I have received word from a source working on the Pittsburgh set of The Dark Knight Rises that a major and well loved character from Nolan's movies will meet a violent end in the director's third and final movie. Having checked into it a little more and seeing several other reports of this on various forums I figured it was worth posting as a rumor at least. So this may not be true, but obviously don't read any further if you don't want to know who might kick the bucket.

Apparently Lucius Fox played by Morgan Freeman in all three Batman movies by Christopher Nolan meets his end in TDKR. Word is that he is murdered but by whom seems to be little more than guesswork, some saying Bane more feeling that it will be Marion Cotillard's character Miranda Tate(believed to be Talia Al Ghul). My source didn't mention any of that, just that he is k!lled and he reckons it is a prelude to the Batman/Bane scrap on the steps we have seen so much footage of.

What do you guys think? Could we be saying goodbye to Lucius? I'm not sure it really makes to much sense given what we already(think we) know of the story so far. Jim Gordon already seemingly suffers at the hands of one of Batman's foes, most likely prompting Batman to "come back". k!lling Lucius might be a bit much. But, it's all conjecture at this point anyway. We will find out soon enough. For now confirm or debunk below.

Spoiler Alert: Following on from the audio files and far off views of Tom Hardy's Bane delivering a menacing speech to the citizens of Gotham, here is a closer version featuring a much more revealing look at the scene and more...

Thanks to a heads up from TheBlackWidow (aka @Zarina_Romanoff) we now have the following video footage of Bane delivering his message to Gotham. However, this one gives us a revealing look at the scenes described here on CBM last night, along with a slightly clearer version of Tom Hardy's somewhat controversial take (among some fans anyway) on Bane's voice.

'If you didn't like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do,' actress promises MTV News.

It was the photo that launched a thousand blog posts, tweets and message-board debates. Last week, the Web was ablaze when Warner Bros. released the first photo of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle in "The Dark Knight Rises."

MTV News was immediately on the case, offering up our own analysis, as well as thoughts from a few experts on what the photo of Hathaway in costume, riding what looked to be Batman's motorcycle, meant for the character and her a.ssumed transformation into Catwoman.

Now, in knowing how tight-lipped the "Dark Knight Rises" stars are sworn to be about the films, when we caught up with Hathaway as she promoted the upcoming movie "One Day," we didn't expect her to offer any commentary about the photo — but she surprised us.

"I was not going to admit it: I asked someone to send me a few reactions [to the photo]," she said. "And I happen to know that MTV's reaction was 'meh.' "

Now, we're not sure about the "meh" quote, but we will admit to using the phrases "cautiously optimistic," "unflattering" and "underwhelming" in our analysis.

Regardless, Hathaway said that no matter the first impressions, there is a lot more happening with that suit.

"What I am happy to say is, if you didn't like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do," she promised. "And if you d

The first casualty of The Dark Knight Rises set? An expensive Imax camera.

Anne Hathaway's stunt double smashed a camera on the Pittsburgh set Monday. Watch the footage on TMZ.com.

PHOTOS: 'The Dark Knight Rises' First Look: On the Set

She was riding the giant motorcycle down the steps of a Carnegie Mellon University building when she went flying into the camera. No one was was hurt.

The scenes seems to be a continuation of the massive riot-f!ght filmed with Christian Bale (Batman) and Tom Hardy (villain Bane) over the weekend.

The movie has a $250 million budget, so should be able to buy a new Imax camera.

The film, directed by Christopher Nolan, hits theaters in 2012.

Last week, Warner Bros. released the first images of Hathaway.

From a Hollywood Life source who also had the first details of the Catwoman costume being tactical and having goggles, they now reveal new details about the costume...

“Those goggles she has on, they go back on her head like a headband, and they are actually pointy cat ears,” reveals our Dark Knight source.
Anne Hathaway told MTV recently,"“What I am happy to say is, if you didn’t like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do.” Well it looks like she wasn't lying, now that I look at the picture with that in mind, I can see it. I breathe a sigh of relief that she will actually have something that makes her appear more cat like. Seems silly, but what's the point in having Selina Kyle/Catwoman in a movie if she doesn't resemble the character that we all love.

Even though shooting is underway on ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, we’re hearing new rumors that The Riddler will be in the film. Is there any truth to the claims, or is it just more misinformation?

Maybe there will be no end to this until The Dark Knight Rises is officially in theaters, but once again, rumors have surfaced claiming that The Riddler will be showing up in Chris Nolan’s third and final Batman movie.

If you don’t like RUMORS or are put off by posts that indulge in speculation about a big comic book movie like this, then move on, nothing to see here.

As we get into examining this latest Riddler rumor, it should go without saying that everything you read here should be taken with a HUGE grain of salt, and that NONE of it is in any way to be considered verified information.

The alleged scoop comes our way via Hypable, which claims to have a “legitimate source” who described a supposed “official casting document” taken from back in April, in which the cast of the Dark Knight Rises was listed alongside their characters. You can take a look at the breakdown of the sheet, as described by Hypable:
EDWARD NYGMA (LEAD) -

BRUCE WAYNE/BATMAN (LEAD) – Christian Bale

ALFRED PENNYWORTH (LEAD) – Michael Caine

BANE (LEAD) – Tom Hardy

SELINA KYLE (LEAD) – Anne Hathaway

FEMALE LEAD (LEAD) – Marion Cotillard (attached)

Obviously it’s that “Edward Nygma” part of the sheet that is causing these new Riddler rumors – but again, nothing about this sheet, or the person who passed it along, has been confirmed. So for now it’s all highly suspect. There’s also the fact that a so-called leaked casting sheet naming The Riddler was debunked a year ago. This could just as easily be another fake, or the same fake, as rediscovered by the Internet.

So, let’s just get it out of the way and say this rumor is almost certainly FALSE. However, just for kicks, there are a few unlikely theories we can explore.

First of all, there’s the fact that April 2011 also happens to coincide with the time we first started hearing that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was joining Dark Knight Rises. JGL has long been a fan-favorite pick to play The Riddler, so inevitably some fans are going to jump to the conclusion that this is what Nolan has been keep up his sleeve all along.

We eventually found out that Gordon-Levitt would play “John Blake” a cop working for Commissioner Gordon – but again, there has been an sentiment of purposeful misdirection by Nolan, which has been echoed by many fans. The simultaneous casting of JGL and Marion Cotillard was immediately put under the microscope of scrutiny, by those unwilling to believe that “John Blake” and “Miranda Tate” were all that they initially seemed.

Recent Dark Knight Rises set photos have lent serious credit to the theory that Miranda Tate is in fact a cover for Cotillard’s true role as Ra’s al Ghul’s daughter, Talia al Ghul. If Nolan is using misdirection to throw us off the scent of one character, who’s to say he isn’t pulling that same act twice with The Riddler?

Back when we were all wondering what Batman 3 would be about, we here at Screen Rant (and a lot of you fans) were keen on the idea of Nolan’s Riddler being some kind of cop or special investigator who becomes obsessed with figuring out who Batman is. So you can see how this latest rumor is going to give some people the false impression that their suspicions are being vindicated.

Of course, there is one big, glaring, problem with this whole theory: Nolan himself has already said that The Riddler won’t be in Dark Knight Rises. So there’s that.

It’s probably for the better if The Riddler is left out. Dark Knight Rises is already a full plate – what with Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman, Tom Hardy’s Bane, and of course, a little guy named Batman who we may want to see onscreen now and again. If Cotillard truly is Talia and not just some supporting character, JGL (or someone else) playing Edward Nygma/Riddler would make this film feel very swollen. Nolan could still streamline all the moving parts into one epic Batman machine, but it would be a tricky task to pull off, for sure.

What do you think: Any truth to these Riddler rumors? Are you expecting to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt revealed as Edward Nygma, or is this just more Internet misinformation?

The Dark Knight Rises will be in theaters on July 20, 2012.

Since 'The Dark Knight Rises' began filming, we've seen photos and footage of every single outdoor shoot. We've seen Tom Hardy in costume as Bane, we've seen him f!ght Batman, we've seen Joseph Gordon-Levitt and the Batmobile.

More than one fan has wondered about the shocking lack of security on the set, especially since director Christopher Nolan is famous for cloaking every aspect of his films in a shroud of secrecy.

If he's really intent on keeping his plots under lock and key, why on Earth is he filming outdoors, knowing full well those scenes will be on the Internet within seconds? Could it be a huge campaign of misdirection? Is it possible that none of those scenes will even be in 'The Dark Knight Rises'?

Four Persuasive Arguments for the Conspiracy Theory:

1. Nolan's level of secrecy makes those 'Lost' guys look like blabbermouths. No one gets into Nolan's locked production office without an escort. "It's very, very tight security," Gary Oldman explained to Absolute Radio. Scripts don't leave his office, and the movie's ending exists only in Nolan's mind, Tom Hardy told Dazed and Confused magazine. He personally tells the ending to each actor, Oldman said, to avoid any Internet leaks.

2. But he also keeps his actors in the dark: "Chris Nolan doesn't tell you anything," Hardy said in a recent interview. "So I don't know what I'm doing or who I'm playing until the morning that I'm working." Obviously, he knows that he's playing Bane because he had to get ridiculously pumped-up to play the villain, but other than that, "everything is subject to change," the actor says.

3. Nolan and his team are famous for spreading misinformation and they've really stepped it up for the third Batman film. A source in Nolan's camp confirmed to Variety that Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be playing Alberto Falcone (aka the serial k!ller Holiday) and the magazine ran with the story. The truth (well, as we know it today), is that Gordon-Levitt will be playing a cop named John Blake. A Nolan source also leaked a fake script as an April Fool's joke.

4. In commenting on the numerous photos from the set, Anne Hathaway expressed some disappointment and frustration, but then she added, "I also think that [Nolan]'s having fun with it, kind of like spooning out secrets. He has a lot more control than you think."

Two Very Solid Arguments Against the Conspiracy Theory:
1. These exact same kind of leaks were all over the place for 'The Dark Knight''s Chicago shoot in 2007. Footage of Heath Ledger as the Joker, the Lamborghini chase and a whole lot more were posted on YouTube as they were filmed. Watching those amateur videos today, we can see how very little they convey of the impact, scope and artistry -- or the plot, for that matter -- of the movie itself.

2. Sure, Nolan has made Warner Bros. a lot of money but no studio or director would go to the extreme of filming fake scenes at what would be an enormous expense. Sure, maybe one here or there but not an entire film shoot. Our money's on (at least most of) these scenes being legit. And that Nolan still has enough tricks up his sleeve to entertain us thoroughly.
