Who wrote this bullsh*t and came up with that weak a.ss Takeover Formula? sh*t makes no sense. Jay dropped 11 albums in 15 years, with supposedly 3 classics. They said Jay had a 1 hot album every 5 year average. So they divided 15 by 3. What about the 8 other albums, are they disregarded? EVERY Jay album been hot. I guess the writer forgot about Vol 2, which is a definite classic and one of his best to me. Kanye started the Polo trend? How old is this writer and wear the fu*k does he live? Did he forget the times when n*ggas was REALLY on that wild out, run up in the store, grab the Polo and leave type sh*t? Then this dude says Kanye "gift wrapped your entire style for you." For WHO my n*gga, not me ?!? If I see a dude with a Kanye influenced style, chances it's are it's a blazer over skinny jeans along with some Converse Chuck Taylor's. Lame.

And Jay never bangin a supermodel ?

I think both only have two classic albums
I'm iffy on Late Registration, but it's funny because a couple years ago I would've stared at you for like 10 minutes if you said LR wasn't a classic album

How about this... Late Registration is a classic, but it's not better than College Dropout

lol I'm not gonna get into why I agree with Kanye > Jay. BX people are too dumb to add in the value of production and thought process as well as lyricism.

mbdtf is a classic and probably the best produced hip hop album ever. definitely the most intricate/complex. but you dumb n*ggas wouldnt understand that. kanye went beyond hip hop with that record and it's definitely his best.
most complex? gotta give that to Lupe

when you learn about arrangements n sh*t in music, u'll understand why the end of runaway and the whole of MBDTF is legendary. n*gga expand your mind....
calm down. knowing how to play a ii-V-I chord progression has nothing to do with whether or not i like this album.

sure the album is different but LEGENDARY? legendary like illmatic? 36 chambers? the chronic? doggystyle? strictly business? wait 20-25 years before you start calling sh*t legendary.

Every single album Kanye West has dropped has been a classic.

And seriously though? Warren Buffet must not be a very good mention regarding a friend of Jay's...

Graduation is not a damn classic.

And I'm a THOROUGH Ye stan.

As much as I like Ye & Jay this article is clearly written by d!ck sucking stans. It's like they were blinded by their gay love for both of the rappers.I bet their only knowledge about hip-hop is through Kanye's and Jay-Z's work.

They said Jay humbled Biggie and that Biggie would later try to emulate him.GTFOH! After Jay stole rhymes from Biggie? Seriously???

fu*k this Illuminati worshiping article!

By the way, I think "Vol. 1" is slowly becoming my Second Favorite Jay-Z album after "Reasonable Doubt".

I don't even acknowledge "I Know What Girls Like" or "Sunshine"... But the rest of that album is classic sh*t from top to bottom...

1997 Jay was was on some other sh*t... When you figure in "Young G's" and "I Love The Dough", as well as "Wishing On A Star".

Goddamnit @ Him putting those two awful fukking tracks on that album and fukking the whole sh*t up.
