Serious question....how do these projects get leaked? Common sense always told me that the artists leak it themselves. Is it a case of someone hacking computers to get the music?
For albums to get distributed to stores they need to get pressed and packaged first. This process is usually done two weeks or more in advance. Once the album makes it to the factory (probably in some country town) the workers get their hands on the album before anyone. Anything can happen then. Store owners may leak it once they get it, but its doubtful since their goal is to make money from the album, but still store workers don't give a fucc.
Artists will likely only leak a song or two but not their entire album. The labels are greedy and likely will not leak anything, but still there are shady producers, studio workers, friends, family, and others who have first access to the artist album who can be potential leakers. Basically albums go through many hands before its released.
Lastly, hackers will hack into computers, phones, and other digital devices just to download music from artist.
The way they are distributing WTT is different than anything they've done in the past so the hopes is that it won't leak until people have already bought the digital copy. But I still think it will leak! In today's world nothing is leak-free! Someone already snuck into the listening session and shared snippets of the entire album so anything is possible!
