the issue is did the prosecution PROVE IT BEYOND EVERY REASONABLE DOUBT - the whole fact of how the parents lied about this all along makes you KNOW that Baez had something - that they did know more and were helping her cover it up, if you believe that - and Tim Miller pretty much made it plain last night, which I don't think the jury could see but who knows - that the parents knew all along -then it's not a stretch to believe that Casey did not murder Caylee but possibly found her dead and then tried to make it look like she'd been kidnapped.
The prosecution left out a lot of stuff because it was dodgy - one thing, two LE interviews stated June 15 as the last time Casey or any of them had seen Caylee. They changed that to the 16th so George could say he saw them leave together happily as usual for work -but Casey herself told her brother on July 15 that it had been THIRTY ONE DAYS since she had seen her daughter. Lee told Jesse Grund there was a f!ght that night where Cindy choked Casey for stealing money and she left either with Caylee never to return or without her - but both sides ignored that.
There is plenty of doubt here - not that Casey did something to Caylee but what she did, who knew, who was covering it up - who hid the body, who found the body, who was telling Anthony's PI to look in those woods in November when Casey was still in jail - why the meter reader who found it in August did not insist the police come out til December - why he told his son in NOvember he knew where the body was -
murder one, premeditated homicide with 6 aggravating circumstances that carries a death penalty you would hope the burden of proof would be high. The dysfunction in this family and the whole of America knowing the ins and outs of it all, we were all saying back in July 2008 "she did it, she did something to Caylee and the family knows" - with that being the case it is tough to say she acted alone to set out to plan to k!ll this child.
That her mother never insisted on seeing the child for a month til that car was seized reeking of death and the just drove it home and waited til they could find Casey to call the police - they knew Casey was fine! She'd talked to her the day before. They knew Caylee had been missing a month.
