Yeah I understand that we as humans tend to reach for things that are there at times to make them more interesting, and the example you used is a perfect example of that.
But it's very coincidental that 24 hours after the BET Awards incident he remixes Drake's song singing from the OPPOSITE point of view, and saying some things that very much fit the mold of him speaking about Drake.
Artist's (Singers most definitely) draw inspiration from real life to write about things, and this would be a perfect example of that. So it makes sense.
But I agree with you, it very much could be nothing at all, just bad timing by Chris to drop this at this point.
